Is it ok that the paint comes off?

I don't know as this was given as a gift. It looked really nice, sturdy and colourful on arrival. I saw no comments on this matter when I reviewed all the ratings. 🤔

There is a prop 65 warning for lead. Does that mean that lead paint was used?

I gave this as a gift so I don't really know as each puzzle was shrink wrapped. I did read other reviews just now and apparently the "paint" is really a sticker wrapped around the wood- the reviewer wrote and she said her 1 yr old ( I bought mine for an older child, I would not give this to a 1 yr old all they do is put stuff in their mouth, it's what they do) sucked on the pieces and they puffed up and the sticker came off. Hmmm, I guess it's not paint, it looked like paint. I doesn't say anything about lead or any warning about it on the box itself. It is made in China
