In full daylight this security camera provides a deep color rich video in 1080P. The IR Night vision is very good within 50 and beyond with if no obstructions are present. Depending on outdoor/indoor lighting, video may become grainy just before sunset and darkness prior to the IR Night Vision activation. If this security camera is exposed to direct sunlight daily for hours, it may last about 3 years before the video quality deteriorates to less color and a white film like haze. Placing this security camera where it will have minimal or no direct sun exposure will result in several years of quality video coverage. The microphone is located in the rear of the camera and provides decent sound. With the screws provided mounting is very simple with a portable or cordless drill and a screw driver. The price of this security camera is a bargain compared to others priced higher. Last I love the tinted IR lens which perfectly illuminate at night.

Great quality

I bought this as a backup. I have a camera that is showing signs of possible failure. I wanted to have a replacement should that happen. I have used this model camera in the past and is currently still working well. A lost cost camera of exceptional video quality in my opinion.

I'm impressed with the color and functionality, the night vision is good also. Would recommend to anyone looking to buy this product.

CCTV camera worked great as replacement for older system where one failed... Does not say if it comes with the POWER and SIGNAL cables, but it does... PLUG AND PLAY..

Added additional cameras to expland coverage. Better quality than previous units

When I received the camera it looked good and was pleased at the construction. After the camera was installed the image looked good except for a fuzzy line going down the left side of the image. The line was small so I allowed since I needed the coverage. A few days pass and I started noticing something really important at least to me; it was BLACK AND WHITE, NOT COLOR. I looked at the Amazon page again and all the COLOR images and began to read every single word in the ad.....every single word. Nowhere does it state that the camera is color. Now look at all the pretty pictures and how lovely the color is in them. Thus far I have not returned the camera because of how long I have had it even though I believe I can. Just BEWARE of your choice and make sure to read EVERY SINGLE WORD!!! Nov. 30, 2023 UPDATE: After I had written my review I was contacted by a representative of Zosi and offered a full refund. They also offered return shipping so I decided to accept their offer and return the unit. I would have hoped that they would have contacted me after they received the camera back with some sort of confirmation of my findings, but that didn’t happen. My rating remains the same but I do commend their customer service and doing the right thing and in today’s society that speaks quite well about their company.

It looks like I made a mistake I've only just sent this camera back for a refund but the splitter power cable was it seems at fault and not the camera so I've got several cameras hanging about I thought were useless

I bought the Zosi security system around 4 years ago just for my sense of security in this strange new world we live in, I had an issue with one camera at the start and then it became 3, the company replaced them with dome cameras which I thought were ok enough, not as good as the "bullet" shape such as these that it originally came with. I was having issues with my landlords and wanted more cameras for my system so I bought 3 ( I got the system for security from the unknown not my landlords, I so want to tell you about them but this is about the cameras ) , I was planning on replacing one and setting up the other two in new places, these camera are sooo much better than the ones I had originally AND they come with sound which will be important to me and wish I had before, it only took one night to see the difference and realized how bad the old ones were. I bought 3 more to replace the old blurry ones. I am super impressed with these little camera. I would recommend them for sure.

Poor field of view. Poor IR illumination. Reasonable picture quality. However this is a budget item and if you can accept the limitations then it is probably quite good value for the money.

I am extremely happy with these cameras. These were purchased to add to my existing system and they have very clear pictures. My brother purchased the dvr to replace his old system and we had problems with a previous camera being black and white. I contacted support and they were amazing. ERNEST, KARBY, and AMY D responded to my emails extremely fast. We had communications throughout the day with approximately 10-12 emails back and forth and not one message took longer than 20 minites. I was blown away with support. Fantastic job to these 3 individuals.
