Used them to retrieve a broken car oil dipstick which had parted down the dipstick tube. Useful for other constricted spaces and an ideal addition to one's tool kit

It is a bit short but I dont know if I could handle longer ones.Its a handy tool for getting hairs from my dogs ears.He is not keen but once they are out thats it for a while.I am glad I bought them and using daily until his ears are free and air can get to them.

Although these were too short(MY mistake)for turning toy limbs, they turned out to be perfect for clamping the end of elastic in place for making scrunchies! Very nice product, can recommend but do check very carefully what length you will need.

I bought these to use to stuff hand made cloth dolls with, and they do the job very nicely. They grip the stuffing firmly, have a good long and narrow nose to reach into all the corners with, but they aren't so big that they're unwieldy or uncomfortable to use. The lock on the handle, which keeps them shut, is very easy to engage and disengage; and they are really good value for money. I've also used them for turning cloth dolls' legs and arms out the right way round, and they work very well for this as well; the only slight problem is that I've found that they sometimes mark the fabric that I've used, leaving the imprint of the gripping surface on the cotton. This mark has gone away on all the dolls I've just checked, but I do wonder if this would be an issue when using flimsier fabrics. All together, though, I'm very pleased with these, and would buy them again if I needed to.

OK for cutting thread or very fine material, but anything more substantial and they struggle.

My earring got stuck. It was so painful this saved me a hospital trip.

I had to use these the day they came! I didn't purchase them for this reason, but I saw a small tick on my dog, and these were the perfect precision tool to firmly grasp the tick and pull it off without having to touch it! Ewwww. I am glad I have them!

Works fine. Very handy if you need these kind of tools.
