Works well
The seal is easy to cut and trim as needed. We got this to stop water getting in the garage when there was heavy rain. We also occasionally get slugs in the garage despite there only being a few mm gap under the door. For the most part the instal was easy. Made sure the garage floor was as flat as it could be and was dust free. Then, as suggested, sealed the area with diluted PVA glue. Like others have noted the thin edge does have a tendency to curl upwards. Before installing tried many ways to get it to not curl but one area would just not lay flat. Certainly the provided adhesive was sufficient for a standard sized garage door with some left over. Overall, very pleased with it. Update: After 6 months the seal is in place which shows the adhesive works very well. We have just had a storm that meant near constant driving rain for about 48 hours. We had a little bit of water get past the seal but this was just a small damp area rather than a puddle. I suspect that I just need to check the edges and use some more of the adhesive. As the concrete garage floor was less than perfectly flat that was a great result. We used to get slugs squeezing under the garage door and that has stopped. We have an inward opening door at the back of the garage and I used the excess strip to help seal the bottom of that. Not the correct way to use it but it does work as a barrier. Great product, spend a little time prepping the surface you will be attaching to and it will work.

Good but not enough stick!
I have a new build property with a double garage ... you know the sort that you can't even get a car in (2 x 7ft doors) so gets used for storage, extra freezer and a workshop. Despite a French drain in front of the doors, when it rains with a bit of wind chucked in for good measure, the floor gets flooded. and has caused damage to a few bits inside. I decided to purchase the 16ft length which comes with one tube of sealant. If you order an 8ft length, you get one tube of sealant included. See where I am going with this? You guessed it, one tube is nowhere near enough for a 16ft length. In fact, the floor by one of the doors was a little uneven and required building up with a couple of packers, the plastic sort that window installers use. In total, the job used 3 tubes of sealant which I had the foresight to purchase prior to the job. I used a new blade in my Stanley knife and would recommend this as the threshold is solid and a dull blade would struggle. I have been waiting for it to rain with a bit of wind (not long to wait in the UK!) and I have to say there is no ingress of rainwater except for one corner where I have obviously missed a bit but it is minor and easily rectified. Overall I would say this has been a worthwhile purchase that has saved me any more damage and allows me to make more use of the space. First impressions are that it works well but cannot give it a 5* rating as it is quite expensive for a strip of rubber and it should have included 2 tubes of sealant.

Works really well!
I noticed critters, draughts and water coming into my garage so was exploring different solutions. I settled on this product over cheaper foam strips and don't regret it. Interesting thing, I bought this product twice separately and they came in different packaging and different adhesives. First time I got the "Sika Stixall" which is top-tier, second time I got "Fix All" and the seal strip itself was badly mangled in the packaging. I used some dumbbells to make it flat before fixing the product to my garage. Generally was straightforward to install, be very generous with the adhesive and use the entire tube. I kicked it against the garage door to minimise the gap and threw some heavy dumb bells to hold them in place overnight. I also used this at the top and sides of my garage door to prevent draughts, and I just used regular wood screws to secure them to the garage frame. Highly recommend this product to anyone and excellent value for money.

Excellent product iffy packing
Our garage floor slopes away from our door inwards for about 450 mm. The water running down the door collects at the bottom and then seeps under the runner seal of floods in if the door is opened. This product is ideal for the job as it is high enough that the water cannot get in with the door open or closed. My only gripe and hence the 4 star is that the thick heavy rubber is so tightly rolled that it is almost impossible to get flat. I needed 8ft and thankfully ordered 9ft as the last 1ft was so tightly rolled that it was impossible for me to flatten it. It lay on our garage floor for a few days with heavy weights on and even then we had to put the weights back on to hold it down whilst the adhesive set. Having installed it it works very well. The length that is left forms a tight circle which is VERY difficult to pull open.

Bought this to block gap under garage door. Needed some adjustments to fit, as door was slightly higher on one side than the other. In addition to the adhesive that came with it (white, not black as in product picture), I also screwed down the seal with a few screws into the concrete for long-term stability. I think the screws should come with it. Other than that, is blocking air and bugs from coming under the door.
