My color (#2) was initially out of stock when I bought it but was restocked before the estimated date. The hair is pretty soft. The ends are twisted for some of the strands but most weren’t hard to unravel. I cut the hair in half to do short jumbo twists. I used 4 or the 6 packs, 3 strands for each twists, I have about 40-45 twists in, and the twists at my nape reaches past my armpit but not quite bra strap length while the front reaches my neck/top of collarbone. I have a small to average sized head. I received a small multicolored pack of hair jewelry (unexpected surprise). Lastly, packaging was odd but effective. I’ll attach photos. Cons: The smell definitely lingers for days. I suggest you soak the hair in ACV and water or some conditioner prior to putting it in. The smell is hard to describe but whatever it is, it’s not pleasant. Not like plastic or burning... maybe wet mothballs? The hair is really nice and should be 5 stars but I took off 2 stars because I didn’t expect pack hair to smell bad and the smell lingered for days. I don’t believe only airing out the hair will be sufficient enough to get rid of it. If the seller can get rid of the smell on the hair and the price remains the same (or slightly lower), I’d definitely buy this hair again. The smell is really the dealbreaker for me since I don’t always have time to wash pack hair prior to installing it. Edit: The seller contacted me, explained what may have caused the smell, and offered to correct the issue since I was dissatisfied with my purchase. I believe they will be addressing the issue soon, so that others won't have to deal with the same problem.

If you can do the look, then do the look sis, cause I know I did 🥰 some hair after wrapping will find a way to unwrap itself slowly over time and this kind doesn't. I highly recommend using two stands at a time, and to be consistent. The ends will feather out to a natural looking tip also so just have fun 👏🏿

Hair tangled and ended up feeling dry

After reading some reviews, I figured it was worth a shot to get this hair and do Marley twists on my TWA. I’m so glad that I went through with it because this is by far the best Marley hair I’ve ever used and I’ve done Marley twists on my hair a lot. It blends right into my hair and it looks better the longer it’s in. It washes and dries great too. And I didn’t end up with any bumps which has been an issue in the past. And it’s super lightweight!! Doesn’t feel like anything is on my head so I can wear cute top buns without it hurting my neck. The only thing that I noticed is shedding IF you have to retwist some. But that’s literally the only thing and honestly not even a big deal. Will definitely be purchasing again.

I wasn't too sure how to rate this because I've never had braids/twist before. I cut off my hair and wanted marley twist to wear as a protective style. I was clueless on what hair to get so I turned to Amazon, typed Marley twist hair and bought the first thing that popped up lol. There was a plastic smell when I removed the hair from the packaging but it went away after 2 mins. I didn't wash the hair but I did use a leave in conditioner which it took very well. The bundles were pretty thick. We only used 2.5 bags on my hair and I still feel like it's too much. Maybe it's because I wanted my twist small, idk. I'm giving it 5 stars because I dont really know much about weave to critique it and so far my hair still looks good. However, it is very thick and stiff for my liking (also, probably because I'm not used to it). I'm not sure if all marley hair is suppose to be like this but I think next time I would like to try human hair.

Great hair and I love the texture. It works perfect for protective styling. Especially when your twists/braids start to get a little old looking. They are need and extremely easy to attain. Most importantly, they are very light weight and easy to wash! Highly recommended in my books.

It’s very rough and feels nothing like type 4 hair in texture. It’s not soft at all. The ends also don’t curl, it’s stiff. The hair feels like wool thread

Bundles of hair came extremely thin, straggley and looked like leftover hair, the ends looked like the hair was used and the color was more of a washed out brown instead of 99J. Extremely disappointed!

Hair arrived pretty fast. Quality seems good, can't wait to install it !
