Great decorative moss! Definitely dyed moss which is fine, it does come with a few sticks and extras, but does just fine if you’re only using it for decor. No smell. It’s about 3 big handfuls worth of moss

I use this for my snails and they love to burrow in it AND it’s safe for them to nibble (which they definitely take advantage of). It’s a little stinky but no worse than any other substrate! And soft enough to not scratch them up.

This is not 100% sphagnum Moss. It’s about 4 different kinds that is disclosed on the packaging information but not in description when purchasing.

Bought this for my daughter's little land snail terrarium & it worked out perfectly. The moss was beautiful & natural, spread out easily & added much needed moisture to the environment. It also makes for a lovely landscape to her little woodland theme!

This was HORRIBLE for my use.. it was advertised as "Sphagnum Moss" but wasn't..it had 4 kinds of different mosses & it was DIED GREEN... NOT FOR USE FOR A BALL PYTHON.

Really hard to tell how much moss you're getting on amazon. I bought several brands, this one went straight into the trash, for worst value. And yes, it's food grade green dye.
