Whiskey for rum drinkers
I've enjoyed rum for many years, but more recently I've began to explore whiskey, finding the lighter Irish whiskeys more to my taste. I usually take these neat, or just with ice. I gave this a try because it's advertised as being aged in rum casks, (I'd not even tasted any of the Tullamore range). It's still recognisable as a whiskey, but it has a beautiful balanced, nuanced sweetness. I think this would be lost if mixed, so best enjoyed neat.

Bought this as something different for a whisky tasting evening with friends. All the other bottles would be single malt. Very pleasantly surprised, and will definitely have again.

A drop of the Irish
I don't think the big names of Irish Whiskey are worried by Tullamore, but maybe they should be. A lovely smooth Irish Whiskey that warms and caresses your palette.

Decent Tasting Rum Casked Irish Blend
Like all my Whiskies, I got this on a deal as I am a fan of Rum Casked whisky. I don't normally buy a lot of Irish Whisky but have been trying more lately. This was a decent attempt by Tullamore to produce a Rum Casked blend and that although not amazing, is not offensive either.

Bought for my dad, he loves the original expression and he had never seen this one before, he finished the bottle in 2 weeks, said it was a great dram, will be buying it again!!

Meh, needs to mature some more!
I love the original Tullamore Dew and I love rum. So I bought this because well, had to, best of both worlds or so I thought. Unfortunately I am very disappointed because it tasted like paint stripper (not that I make a habit of downing the latter..!). Compared to the silk smooth velvety, luxurious deliciousness of the original TD, this is harsh on the palate. It's a shame I couldn't return it. It's a no from me. Wish I'd bought Bumbu Rum instead.

Lohnt sich
Man schmeckt das Rum-Cask finish tatsächlich. Der Whisky wird weicher und etwas süßlicher. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall - wenn man es als Angebot bekommt.
