I received this bunion kit on saturday morning, today is thursday and I can honestly say that about from showering and going out I have hardly had the right foot splint off! That's how good I'm finding it!I tried it straight after delivery and slept with it on the first night. It was a little uncomfortable during the night and I removed it but wore it the following night after a re-adjustment and it was fine. I have now slept in it 5 nights with no problems. I am now retired so can wear it around the house all day which I do, barefooted mostly, but it does fit under my slipper socks so no problem there. I'm now hardly aware of it but can honestly say that for me it really IS making a difference. I was sceptical, even more so my husband, but even he can see the difference. My bunion is quite pronounced, and was red and very sore. The redness has gone and my whole foot is much more comfortable. I'm walking much more easily and able to put more pressure on the big toe joint which I haven't been able to do for some time without considerable pain. Look I'm not expecting miracles here, and I don't know if the splints will prevent me having to have an operation like a few of my friends have but I do know they have made quite a difference to me in just a few days. I really wish I had purchased something like these years ago before my bunion grew so big and then who knows.... I showed a friend my new sexy footwear couple days ago and highly recommended that she purchased some NOW as her bunion isn't nearly as pronounced as mine but is starting to cause discomfort. She intends to purchase some. I nearly forgot - the separate silicon protectors look and feel good too but I haven't really used them as prefer the splints and I'm able to wear the splints for long periods. That said, I'm planning to try the silicone ones soon. I think they would certainly be useful if toe separation is an issue which is isn't for me at the moment. The instruction manual is very good and contains some helpful toe exercises which I'm currently doing. As a 67 year I don't normally spend my time writing many, or lengthy reviews but, apart from the fact that I am genuinely impressed with this product, I was also swayed to buy by the other positive reviews I had read.

Having spent time researching for a product that would help with pain relief and reduce further development of bunion on my left foot, I purchased this product as it offered 24 hour pain relief and prevention of bunions worsening. I found the bunion splints easy to use . To begin with I could only wear them for a couple of hours and did experience aching in my big toe, now 6 weeks later I can wear them whilst sleeping and no longer have aching in my big toe. I have noticed a positive difference with the size of my bunion (not as protruding) and the position of my big toe i.e. it's not turned towards the rest of my toes as much as it previously was. The toe gel straighteners are comfortable to wear under socks/tights in shoes. I've noticed I don't get pain with my bunion when walking. The booklet that comes with the splints and straighteners is informative and includes foot exercises to offset any foot pain. The bunion on my right foot is not as developed as the one on my left foot but I'm wearing splints/straighteners as a precautionary measure to prevent it worsening. Customer service from Sports Laboratory is very good and I would recommend this product.

In this last year I have started to notice that so many things have been going awry with my health. I have always had sensitive feet and so when I had pain in my feet, legs and lower back I just put it down to my footwear, however about a month ago I noticed that my right foot was looking very bruised and battered and then my foot bones started to really poke out and my my right foot started to look like the bride of Frankensteins' feet ! So this is when I started to look for something that could help my feet. I looked through so many similar products to this one but what stood out about this item was the fact that it was for both feet as I could see that my left foot also has some issues although it is not as bad as my right foot. This product also has the gel inserts for day and the splint for night and together this was the all in one solution. Firstly I would like to say that because of my sensitive feet I can not wear anything inbetween my toes but I have had no problem with the gel inserts or with the splints. I couldn't wear the splints to bed so instead I wore the the gel straighteners to bed instead and I have seen a great improvement from the first day I used these. For the first time I can remember I can actually seperate my toes which is something I didn't realize that I had not done for a long time. Secondly these have improved my posture so much in under a week. I am still not able to wear the splint to bed all night but my feet, legs and lower back already hurt much less and just this morning I noticed a huge change in my posture. I have noticed this last year that I have a forward head posture which gives a hunchback look and this was causing my whole body to tilt forward and I have been doing exercises to improve this. However this morning when I looked at myself I noticed that I wasn't tilting forward anymore and when I started to think why this was, I realized that I was leaning more back on my heels rather than my toes, as my toes were in so much pain my body was leaning forward to put more pressure on my toes to stop the pain but now as my toes were no longer hurting my body could lean back and rest on my heels, therefore greatly straightening my posture ! I am just so happy about this and wish that I had got this product sooner. I am also going to get my son to use this so make sure that he doesn't get the problems that I have now in the future, I really can't recommend this product enough, it has made such a huge difference to my life in such a short space of time and I am very impressed with this product.

Tried one of these many years ago with moderate success. I get a little pain but not the real excruciating and debilitating discomfort many people get from their bunion. This provides a little relief but will probably never correct the deformity - only surgery will do that and even then there is no guarantee. But this is worth a try if your bunion is young and in the early stages of growth; I can imagine using it often will help to prevent the bunion getting too big and painful... For an old bunion, such as mine, this is of little help.

I had a fall last year and the injury has caused a bunion to start to form, making that area painful when I walk or flex my toes. I really don't want it to get worse (and I hope it gets better), so I thought I would try this based on the good reviews. Initial impressions are very good - they seem sturdy and I'm impressed with how comfortable they are. It doesn't feel particularly sweaty to wear. The velcro holds the corrector firmly in place, and it was well considered to have the strap to go around the ankle also. As someone said, it can sometimes feel a bit scratchy if the velcro isn't properly aligned, and if you are wearing both, one foot can stick to the other if you get too close - but that's easily remedied. The instruction booklet is very clear, and includes a few suggested exercises - not anything particularly new, but a nice confirmation of what I have been doing. In general it gives a good impression that the sellers care about the buyer and not just making sales. The gel straighteners are really nice to the touch, and comfortable to wear. I find that they are best work with socks around the house, but wearing them with shoes (trainers) made my little toe feel like it was being rubbed against the side of the show, so I don't think I will do that much. However, it is so small and light that I can stick one in my bag and carry it around with me. I have been using this for less than a week, and I already have a lot less pain and can flex and put weight on my foot much more than before. I do think this is because my toe has been helped back into alignment by wearing the bunion corrector or gel straightener for a few hours each day, so I do recommend this to others to try.

Very pleased with this product. I found this a couple of weeks ago and according to what I understand this kit is the best one on the market. For two important reasons why I chose this kit firstly the 2X Bunion Splints are a very nice design and they are very comfortable. You don’t notice they are there much and are of excellent design. A lot of effort has been put into this product and it really does help to realign your toe. The problem seems that many people have a foot which can be out of alignment due to things like wearing shoes that may be a bit tight for your toes. Getting that bump on your foot is not good really so wearing this kit does help a lot. Also the 2x Big Toe Gel Straighteners are good when on the go and you have to be wearing shoes during the day or at work. It helps to protect your foot in the area where it’s possible to soring and other common problems. The material is really good and helps to pad it out well. You have to be careful though when putting these products on and gentle with your fingers. It really is the best on the market and I am very happy with this product as it has managed to cure an ongoing problem I was having for quite some time. Of course though the only way to properly cure a bunion is by going down the surgery route as many people have if they are bad and need the treatment. Using this kit though is a good way to prevent things getting worse or to help stop a bunion becoming worse than it is. If you wear them every day both at work and at home while sitting relaxing or in bed then you are keeping your feet in good condition which is important.

I saw my posture recently in a shop window and finally acknowledged what the Physio had told me in regards my hip pain; back pain etc. My feet are SO bad (I have a connective tissue problem hence my joints being lax) and I know these will not fix anything, but they do create some separation which had I done in my teens or twenties, might have stopped my feet getting worse. LIke: The big like for me is that by straightening my toes out, my big toe joint is pushed back to where it is supposed to be - this in turn changes my posture. Although my big toes don't support me (like they are supposed to) due to my flexible joints, the re-positioning of the toe pushes me back further onto my heels and does not allow me to flop forward over my fallen arches. This is HUGE! My knees turn back to straight vs pointing inwards, and as a result my hips turn inwards too, better supporting my SI joint where I have issues. Therefore, my knees and hips are more in alignment with where they are intended to be. It is only day 2, but I am hoping by wearing these at home it will give me some relief from hip and back pain due to being better aligned. It is a little strange feeling, and awkward, but in the house pottering around its ok. The blue straps are fairly comfortable and I can wear them in my slippers unseen. Not sure I could tolerate them in shoes. The silicon separators are very soft and comfortable. Dislike: The blue straps are almost too big, I am female size 39 but my feet are slender. They fit but are a little bulky. The silicon separators are too narrow for me. I really could have done with something almost twice as thick for between my big toe and second, this would be great for hiking. The "tail" bit of the silicon separator that goes over the painful lump is not quite big enough. I can almost wear these in (toed) sandals, but the end bit rides up and pokes out of the sandals. The silicon gets quite dirty too, so I am hoping washing it is no problem. Overall, am very happy with this product. DEFINITELY better than doing nothing, which is what I was doing!

Arrived today. I am pleased to say it is a really well made and thought out product and is excellent quality. I was sat relaxing at the time it arrived so put it on straight away following the clear instructions carefully. As I’m not intending walking around in it there is no need to over tighten the strap around the body of the foot (just fastened it’s sufficiently to secure in place) and I was surprised to find that it wasn’t uncomfortable or irritating in any way at all. (I am a UK size 6.5) After about 15 mins I had actually forgotten I was wearing it. I think I may tighten the main body of the foot strap a little more for over night use just to be certain it won’t move. Whilst I can feel that it is gently pulling my big toe sideways back towards the correct position it is not painful. I don’t want to over do it though so removed it after an hour...as advised in the instructions and I shall wear it again this evening for maybe 2 hours before going to bed. (I don’t think that time frame will be a problem) I shall do this for a few days building up the time frame before attempting to sleep in it. But so far I don’t envisage any problems wearing it overnight. On a side note....I wear soft slippers or slipper socks as my feet are often cold so just popped my slipper back on over the top so my toes didn’t get cold whilst I was sitting relaxing with my feet up. Also I don’t look constantly silly with this strap thing on when other family members come into the room or if we get an unexpected visitor haha The silicone protectors are extremely soft gel not what I expected....for some reason I expected them to be harder so am delighted they are as soft as they are. I haven’t tried them yet but think they will be super and very protective of the side where the bunion actually is. Whilst it only arrived today at this point I think I have made an excellent choice and feel it will help prevent things getting worse and quite possibly help improve the bend over time which is the best I can hope for.
