The board is nicely constructed with two games on one board back to back. It folds up and stores nicely in its box. The board itself is strong and sturdy, not flimsy. It’s not like old style that I had as a kid that folded in half, but it’s made just as well. Just a different style of folding. The bonus is having Tic Tack Toe on the backside. Great for any age child who has the ability to play Tic Tac Toe then graduate into Checkers! Great find for the price! Perfect!!

These games are sturdy and classic

Perfect size, nice board, and great value.

Quite adequate for a 6 year old. I bought this for my grandson. My son and his wife have 4 kids so they have lots of toys and games. My grandson is the oldest and just beginning to play more advanced, adult games. But they have only a finite amount of room in their home. I like this because the board folds twice so the storage box is smaller and requires less shelf space. With 4 children and 2 dogs, every cubic inch of storage is critical.

The regular sized board folds into a compact square and the checkers pieces are light weight. This is perfect for occasional use and is a space saver. If you use the game frequently, you may want to get a more substantial set.

Great double game

This little gameboard has been great for traveling. Gives us a fun activity and keeps us "unplugged".

This checkers set, while a legit board game, falls short of being the quality most people look for. The game arrived in a small box; so right away I knew the board was compromised. It is unstable when you set up the game--especially if you are playing on a bed, outside or on any slightly uneven surface. This is primarily because the board is split into four sections for ease of folding. I'd much rather have had a fully-intact board and don't really understand why Amazon rated this checkers set the preferred one. Also, while I'm at it, the checkers were on the small side and I have smaller hands, so if I felt they were too small, others would probably agree with that.
