The Tracer2 chest belt is adjustable and elastic so it fits over seasonal clothing and small accessories like hydration packs. You should order your regular size even if you plan to wear layers.

Is this only for others to see you? How well does it light the path in front of you?

It can be seen up to 1/4 mile away! It is meant to be unobtrusive to your vision. Even wearing in flashing mode you may not notice the lights. For path lighting, we suggest the Tracer ChestLamp that securely attaches to the buckle.

How long does the charge last?

The Tracer2 lasts p to 20 hours depending on the color mode. Generally, the most visible blinking modes also last the longest. There is a visual battery life indicator on the back. It is easily recharged with an included USB-C cable.

What about rain, sweat, or cleaning it?

The Tracer2 is IP67 Waterproof Rated for rain, splashes, or even accidental submersion. The chest belt is hand washable with a detergent of your choice. Just don’t submerge the light piece or leave it under a running faucet.
