You can keep your warmed sake at the perfect temperature by adding hot water to the warmer. If you pour approximately 80°C hot water into the warmer and set the tokkuri inside, you can also enjoy "nurukan" (gently warmed sake) with a soft and rich flavor. Additionally, adding ice water allows you to enjoy chilled sake. The tokkuri holds about 150ml of sake (170ml when full), slightly less than a standard "ichigo" (one traditional serving of sake).
