I'm dealing with a 13 year old cat with chronic diarrhea. After multiple visits to the vet and him receiving treatment that has been hit or miss, I started looking for something else to try to help him and found this. The taste must be vile, because he fought hard not to swallow. It had no effect whatsoever, but that doesn't mean it's ineffective for other problems others may have. After finding a digestive sensitive type food, he did improve. Although that only lasted for a couple of weeks. Now I'm trying foods without carrageenan (which many seem to contain), which is known to cause diarrhea. It's only been a few days and he still has soft poop but it isn't as bad as it was. I'm hoping I've found a solution. So, this product may work for others, just not for me.
