I love auyrvedic medicine products and use them on my body every chance I got. This particular oil is geared towards hair care. I have a color treated hair and I pay special attention to keeping my hair well conditioned at all times. This oil can be applied on hair. I put it on at night and let it stay in my hair overnight. In the morning I wash hair with normal shampoo and conditioner. Scent of this product is soft and medical remedies are many: from reducing dandruff to moisturizing hair cuticles. Product uses traditional Indian herbs. Probably not for everyone, but I personally love it.

This is interesting. It smells really nice. It just takes some getting use to. You have to plan ahead. Use it the night before you shower and sleep with it massaged into your hair and scalp. I then sleep with a towel on my pillow so that I don't smear the oil into my pillowcase. Is it working? Is it growing my hair back? Maybe. I'm getting some little fuzzies sprouting up on my bare patches. Only time will tell if it makes any difference. I've been using it for a little over a month now. I expect it will take a very long time to see if my hair really grows back to any great degree. Anyway, it is worth a try.

My hair is really thin on top. I was once totally bald due to my chemo treatments. I regained my hair and it came back darker and curly, which I really enjoyed. Unfortunately, it didn't last. All that body and curl left after a while. As I said, my hair is thin on the front part of the top of my head. I had really hoped that this ROOTS AND HERBS Hair Oil would help my hair. The first problem for me is the smell. It is not pleasant at all. The closest thing I can come to is a fig smell. I don't know why I think of figs, but I do. The second problem is that it leaves my hair very greasy. It looks like I soaked my hair in cooking oil!! It stays that way until I wash it. The positive is that it leaves my hair very soft and with a little more body. I think some of that may be due to the oil that remains on my hairbrush from before I washed my hair. I don't know if I can continue these treatments or not. I may give it a few more tries to see if it thickens any, but I can't guarantee it. It just looks SO greasy and I hate for anyone to come to my door and see me looking like that!! I can't really recommend it when I don't know if I can stand to keep using it.

Not only was this product ineffective it smells horrible. It smalls like someone dunked your head in a latrine and then dumped the ashes of a campfire over your head. Revolting stuff

This oil combination is wonderful. It makes my hair smell great & soft. I notice less hair fallout as well. I use it twice a week, before hair washing day. I highly recommend it.

There is a list of oils "a mile long" on the side of the bottle.... a lot of them. Most I know - neem, olive, coconut, orange, lemon, flax, pepper, sesame .. and so many more ... and a list just as long of oils that I do not know. I spread some of the oil onto the back of my super dry hands. It was "watery" not thick so it should be pretty easy to work into your scalp (You could try this tool if you want better and easier coverage - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MYP61C8 or something similar) Rubbing into my skin took a long time, I ended up doing both hands and up my arms. It was greasy, but it did eventually soak in and it feels great Smell is kind of a "mixed tea" leaves smell Not overpowering
