These UPS units work and last a long time
I have had CyberPower UPS units since they first came out. My first one had a lifetime warranty, and had a problem after 7 years of faithful use. I contacted CyberPower for warranty service and they replaced the unit. IN the mean time, I had been using the "most popular major brand", and it seems like the newer the model, the shorter the lifespan. I do not own any models of that brand. I have replaced them all with CyberPower units. I have not had to replace a battery or have any of the UPS units go bad, so I am well pleased. I like the display that shows incoming line voltage, estimated run time on the battery, battery charge percentage, output voltage and frequency, and the output load in watts and volt amperes. It also shows the output watts and va's in percentage.

Well worth the money !
Live in Florida where the power seems to go out daily for brief periods. 20 minutes after hooking this up we had a power failure. It was great !!! no loss of power to the TV or satellite equipment, stereo equipment, etc, meaning no annoying resetting of devices and clocks. Have one on my PC in another part of the house and am ordering one to protect my HAM radio equipment. Well worth the money. Lightening yesterday took out several unprotected light bulbs in other parts of the house, a common occurrence here in the lightening capital of the USA... no harm to any of the protected products.

Small, light and convenient UPS
I have bought both Cyberpower and APC UPS' before and between both, I like this new version that Cyberpower has better than APC. The old Cyberpower UPS I had had a big blue power button that would be lit the whole time it is on, at night it would be really bright. With this new UPS the light from the power is not bright at all, it is perfect if you keep it in a bedroom. The LCD screen is great, the USB ports are very convenient. No need to have a USB adapter next to your desk with this UPS, I use it to charge my iPhone and iPad and my USB Battery backups. The 1000VA is very small compared to the standard UPSs, I was surprised how light and small it was. The 13000VA are a lot heavier and longer but this one is a great size. Great device, great battery for when the power goes out. I usually get 70-90 mins out of it with a mac hooked up to it and various USB devices to it such as Hard Drives.

solid for 8 years
product is pretty old, so just posting this for posterity, but this worked super well for 8 years, saved my work on several occasions of power outages. A few weeks ago it just shut off for no reason, no warning, no sound, just *click* off. The house did not lose power, just this unit switched itself off. Today it happened again for the 3rd time and I lost some work, so I'm biting the bullet and purchasing a replacement unit. 8 years is a pretty good life, but it would have been nice to have some warning or maybe some way to replace the battery itself. Prices went up about 40% in those 8 years, so that's not great. Still, overall I've been pretty happy with this unit and will be replacing with the same brand, similar size.

A nice update to the CP1000AVRLCD
A recent power outage that resulted in my server staying up for only about a minute made it apparent that it was time to replace my 5 year old CyberPower CP1000AVRLCD UPS in the computer closet. I've been very happy with that model so I chose just to go with its updated sibling, the CyberPower BRG1000AVRLCD. The BGR1000AVRLCD is a 1000VA/600W uninteruptible power supply with, 10 outlets (5 battery/5 surge). It has one more surge outlet than the CP1000AVRLCD and as a result is slightly taller, but has a nicer, clearer, black and white LCD status screen. Like the older version, the outlet spacing doesn't allow for power bricks, so you'll need to invest in some short extension cables. The outlets are nicely shaded/color-coded to make it easier to figure out which side is battery-powered. My favorite feature by far is the mute option, which lets you turn off all beeps and alerts.

Can't beat CyberPower
Since I opted out of buying the extended protection plans I decided to buy this to protect my new LG 60 inch 4k TV & Vizio Sound bar. Supplies cleaner power that I hope will extend the life out of both components, well in theory that is. It was also a lightning sale, a deal I couldn't pass up. Also in the event of a power outage, I can still watch TV uninterrupted for 20 minutes according to the built in LCD screen. I have a older CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD 900w model for my computer that is over 3 years old that still works great so it was another reason for a second purchase from Cyberpower.

Don't buy it for PC!
Because of some storm here in Pennsylvania we had power outage. Right exactly when I needed this UPS work after 4.5 years owing it, it failed! So did my PC and I could not boot the computer it caused a lot of damage and frustration. I tried every method you could think, and because the windows file were damaged on my SSD, I just switched to my newer PC I built. I talked with the support of Cyberpower and after doing some tests, he told me I need a pure sinus wave UPS and this UPS is not compatible with my PC. So what is device good for if anything? Support said, like very old PC or laptop or a lamp or maybe a monitor! So If you buy this device to protect your main precious PC, you will be fooled by CyberPower the same way I was. Basically support tried to blame me for not choosing the right model, while when you are buying this, they never made it seem as something that you have to notice! You buy a UPS to protect your PC. But their thought is you buy a UPS to protect your bedroom lamp. I told him the sales team need to take responsibility and stop blaming customers for their mistakes.

Best UPS I've Owned, very user friendly
Plug and play, I have several of these UPS for various computers and have had absolute great results. They work every time and when they reach their life span you can replace the batteries for a fraction of the unit cost. These are not a vanity item, they are a necessity when it comes to protecting data. Read the instructions and its very easy to use. Comes with useful software if you want your computer to control its environment.

Works great for my 3d printer
Bought this to run my 3D printer during storm season when we lose power. Never had a power outage while i was printing but I did test it a few times by unplugging it and my printer always kept chugging away. This shows it will allow my printer to run for about 45-60 minutes which is more than enough to get through most little storm outages that we deal with in central AB

Torre compacta.
