Can’t complain, was easy to use, felt solid and cheap when compared to other valve compression tools. I used it on my old Ford focus mk1 1.6

I bought this to assist in rebuilding my '76 XS650. The kit comes well packaged in a hard case, the tool is pretty robust, and has a good selection of spring compressors. The tool worked admirably. It fitted well, did a perfect job of safely compressing the springs, and the threaded mechanism is smooth allowing for controlled opening of the tool which prevents the fiddly collets popping out of place as the tension on the spring is relieved. 5/5, would recommend.

Worked well for removing and replacing valves in two motorcycle heads. No issues with sturdiness for that purpose.

Well made and worked well on my Land Rover cylinder head. Storage box keeps everything together and is sturdy. T bar that passes through the threaded compresser is too loose a fit so kept falling out - soon fixed with a piece of gaffer tape, only a minor point but frustrating when you have everything lined up.

Work perfectly and are great value for the cost. If you were doing this job everyday you would pay a lot more for a sprung clamp style but for occasional use this kit is hard to beat.

Good solid bit of kit. I bought this screw type compressor as there's less to go wrong than with a lever assembly and that's probably a good thing at this end of the budget. With the handle ends taped to stop it sliding out, it's not much slower than using a lever either. It comfortably fit the 89mm length valves in my Toyota 1KR-FE engine, I imagine it'll fit most cylinder heads smaller or bigger. Contrary to the picture in the instructions, I recommend you use the screw handle on the spring retainer end of the tool; greasing all the threads and the part where the threaded rod fits into the adapter which compresses the spring retainers. This way the rod is free to turn without moving parts grinding against your valve heads causing the tool to slip. The process was quick and simple with the tool set up this way - Just be wary of those machined bores for the tappets!

Wanted to change valve stem oil seals & this worked great. Great price. Ok quality for a DIY job.

Ideal for the once a year diy er used this on a 116i n45 engine worked well with no issues

usato per bmw 320d si è dimostrato semplice da usare e nel complesso costruito bene. per 20 euro davvero non si può dire nulla, il suo lavoro poi lo fa alla grande. Forse sarebbe da verificare su valvole larghe con molla doppia ma credo che comunque si riesca a utilizzare senza problemi

Da gibt es nichts zu meckern. Habe mit dem Werkzeug komplett alle Ventile und Schaftdichtungen bei meinem Oldtimer mit Leichtigkeit gewechselt.
