Great conversation piece and easy to read and follow

I always had troubles reading heavy text and long lengthy books as my fashion business already took up so much of my time. I saw my friend posting about this book on her Instagram, so I decided to get a copy to find out. This turns out to be a really good catch because the way this book use a lifespan or timeline sort of format to tell me what did each fashion designer gone through, what is their milestones, life choices. How each fashion legend has done in order to reach to their status today. It is also like a fashion history book, but much more modernized and not lengthy which is good. My favourite designer has always been Alexander McQueen, I love how this book literally walked me through his whole life in such a detailed double spread, the colors are not too bright to blind me, it is super pleasant to read. Tells me what companies he worked before, what was his ups and downs, the quote written in the book by him that “ Everyone has a dark side they sometimes try to hide...I guess that makes it more attractive” really stick to my mind when I run my own business. I love reading different quotes from each designer to keep me inspired in a way. The illustrations are very special, just brings me to a good mood reading about different fashion designers.

If you have spare change and want to suprise yourself with a *damaged, frivolous gift A MONTH from your purchase date, this is perfect for you. If you have any hesitations, skip this deeply underwhelming and strangely ethnocentric book. My suggestion: use the images in the description as a guide for Google searches on your favorite designers. Make a spreadsheet if you're a visual learner. :)

Much of this book is made up of timelines of the 50 fashion legends, yet the facts do not list the years. Pretty useless for research purposes because you have to do your own research above and beyond the book. Very disappointing

White washed one note version of history.

The delivery is fast. I'm satisfied with the product. And I'm using it well.

very small , cheap book. Book is just very small, printing so small its hard to read graphic drawings and notes on the high lights of each designer. No photographs, just graphic small sketches. Bought it as a gift for someone going into fashion design at university and felt embarrassed even giving it. Would never recommend this book. $32 +$12 next day delivery !!! Waste of money......... DO NOT BUY !!!!!
