Never going back to my old razors, premium quality and cheap to buy more razors

This was my 1st DE type razor_I recommend this Razor to Beginners or Pro's_ I've never nicked my face once with this razor, but i think that's mostly patience_ If your a begginer this is the only Razor you will ever need_ I have about 21 DE Razors now, but all i mostly use is THIS razor_ I'm about to sell about 10 of the others It's easy to get a tight line where clean shaven skin borders a beard or Goh-Ti_ The roller mechanism to open the blade compartment is very smooth_ The weight is balanced_ It looks like a Gem_ The finish is thick & soft, with a masculine tone I used all of the blades that came with the razor (made in Soligern, Germany), and they were just great for me as a Newbie (I have Non-Sensitive skin with No Coarse Hair)_ Then I decided to sample some other blades_ I'm working on a pack of Shark™ blades now_ They say they're not for beginners but they work for me_ Feather™ is my other Favorite blades I am spoiled already by the 'Butterfly' Type DE Razor (which is what this Razor is), but my other favorite Razor is the Van Der Hagen Adjustable DE Razor_ Overall this Van Der Hagen Butterfly 110 is an heirloom quality razor Splash some Proraso After Shave on your face (& head, if bald) for a skin bracing finish ..... It’s just amazing, I bought a 50 dollars one thinking the more expensive the better and I ended up going back to this one. Idk if it’s my skin or my face but this just works and gives a clean shave. Don’t worry about the price this is a good product and don’t cut the face even if you’re a beginner 9/10 the only downside is that it feels very light and cheap material compared to others but besides that it works perfectly

Great razor I wanted to try a saftey razor with a long handle only thing I don’t like is it’s a bit aggressive and has a big gap between the guid and the blade so it is easier to cut urself

If the bottom knob stays tight it a great shave. If it accidentally loosens could get a nick.

I have been shaving with cartridge razors for 24 years. I tried electric briefly, hated them, then went back to wasting my money on cartridge blades. I stretched the heck out of my last DSC cartridge pack, because I just refused to buy more, decided to finally buckle and go get another pack as I kept losing parts on my last one, and discovered that they had changed their handles in my long absence.... Well, it was my sign. Tried this out as my "intro to something else" blade, and I'm already thrilled at the result. I used to just shave with water right out of the shower, so shaving does take a bit more time and effort, but I happened to have a brush and bowl my nephew and nieces got me as a gift a while back. The things I've learned so far: People aren't kidding when they say short, light strokes. Nor are they when they say you NEED to use cream, soap, butter, oil, or gel. Water alone means you will suffer the fires of a million fallen hairs screaming in revenge later that morning. Also, going against the grain is the only way I've cut myself so far, so don't do that. Or do, if you like the Freddy Krueger look. Otherwise, it's been smooth shaving. Those expensive 6+ blade monstrosities with the gimmicks like car brands, vibrators, heated heads, gel strips, and whatever else they think up to make it more expensive don't get you any better shaved than a $0.20 blade does. Oh, and the handle? I was expecting plastic for the price, something temporary. This has heft and a real feel of quality. Time will tell, but I'm extremely pleased as of yet.

I am 60+ and had always used an electric or cordless shaver. I decided to shop for something different and discovered this safety razor (like my dad used) and decided to give it a try. The short handle was just too short and was not comfortable for me. When I tried the long handle it felt perfect, good weight, grip and overall quality feel. Learning to use it was not bad at all. I use the Van Der Hagen shave butter and get a great close shave. My skin is smoother with very little to no irritation at all. Shaving with this razor has eliminated my ingrown hair problem as well. The only thing that I don't like is that the blades are hard to get out of the box. It gets a five star rating from me.

Favorite razor. Prone to issues shaving. This razor solved it! Great for sensitive skin.

Excelente calidad y un tamaño adecuado. Buena opción para los hombres que prefieren rastrillos de este tipo.

Te das cuenta por que cambiaron al desechable ya que con esta rasura dora es al ras y además hay que cuidar detalles de corte al rasurar para no cortarse pero si es mucho mejor que un desechable 100%
