Used this carb to replace original on a Ryobi string trimmer as was recommended by a you-tube video. Trimmer started right up after replacing the carb and spark plug. I did not replace fuel filter because it had ran real well, but after using trimmer for about 10 minutes it started to bog down again. I should have replaced filter at same time. no more issues with it bogging down after filter replacement.

Installed this a month ago and working great. Note that if your trimmer is not running well, it could be the old pieces of degrading hose. I found lots of little yellow plastic bits from the old tubing. So check your tank for pieces BEFORE putting the new carburetor on, or you'll clog the new one too!

My trimmer finally coughed it's last cough, and I decided to clean out the tubing, only to find it was the carburetor as the problem. This little fellow popped in like it was factory-made; took less than 15 minutes. Gas trimmer has worked perfectly since. Comes with new tubing and ceramic filter, I trimmed the tubing to fit like the original. Very pleased that $15 salvaged an expensive trimmer!

This product saved me a lot rather than replacing the trimmer

Replaced my weed eater's existing carburetor which would not keep the weed eater running. Now the weed eater starts and runs great. For less than $15 I fixed my $100 weed eater.

Contents of the kit pictured is not what is included in the kit you are buying. Spark plug and air filter foam is not included despite being shown in the picture.

No dislikes, runs like new.
