LIVIVA Low Calorie Keto-Certified Organic Shirataki Spaghetti 14 Ounce (Pack of 6)

This is my go-to "pasta"; I use it to replace spaghetti in my diet. It is easy to use--rinse in a colander, drain, dry by rolling in a clean dishtowel, and add to whatever dish is being prepared. When I serve spaghetti and meat sauce, I just add it after rinsing, draining, and drying to the pan with the meat sauce and let it simmer a couple of minutes. It absorbs the flavor of the sauce (or whatever it is being used in). It does not have a flavor of its own nor does it smell like anything. It's like regular spaghetti which doesn't have much flavor or smell either. I really love that I can purchase this in its plastic container (which includes two separate bags of spaghetti) and it keeps in the kitchen cabinets. Great product with only 1 gram of carb per serving. This product is a main stay in my kitchen. It also makes great parmesan shrimp with spaghetti!!

The product itself has been really good, the noodles are a satisfying keto replacement for regular noodles... But three out of four orders have been for a six-pack but I've only received a single package and the latest (incorrect) order appears to be a bag of goop instead of two pouches of noodles. I'm not even sure what's going on in this package and I'm not going to open it--but it's definitely not usable noodles.

This is an awesome product. The smell which isn't a big deal, considering I can eat these noodles that won't raise my blood sugar at all!!!!!! LOVE THESE!!!! You can do things like soak in vinegar or something like that which helps but it really doesn't matter. Once you rinse them really well, steam fry them the smell goes away all together anyway. They taste great!!!!!!

As a diabetic, I am always looking for good substitutes for my favorite carbs, especially pasta. These shirataki konjac noodles are the best sub I have found for my pasta-tooth! The texture is great, and they are super easy to prepare! Just open the pakage, drain, rinse, then add to whatever sauce you like. I have used them with marinara, alfredo sauce, pad thai, and peanut sauce so far, and I have not been disappointed yet! They keep their texture and firmness when reheated later. I have purchased the penne noodles, the spaghetti, and the angel hair, and they are all very good, although they do cost significantly more than regular pasta. For me, they are totally worth the cost to be able to eat my favorite italian dishes without worrying about my blood sugar!

Starting off, I absolutely love these noodles and have found them to be a fun and healthy asset to my Keto diet. I have ordered these twice now online, and both times have been disappointed in the quality. Some noodles have a great color, quality and hold their shape, with no deformation. The others were the opposite, they dissolved right in the package and just squished apart, with a brown yellow color, instead of the grey-ish white color, they are supposed to have. The first time I ordered these, a few packages had this problem, and I chalked it up to the company switching their packaging. So I gave it a second go, and ordered again, this time out of 6 packages, 4 whole packages had this problem. Therefore, given the price of this item and that it is not eligible for return, I wanted to make others aware. I'm hoping this kind of issue is temporary and able to be resolved, as would like to continuing ordering this product, but only if this issue has been fixed. Hope this helps.

I ordered the spaghetti noodles and ended up getting the rice shaped shirataki. Oddly enough that's what I was actually wanting to try but didn't want to pull the plug, so I'm not that mad about it. Although, I hope this doesn't happen in the future. The rice shaped shirataki was better than I thought, although it tastes very bland. Luckily it had no smell of dead fish like Miracle Noodles does. It looks and feels like rice, but I would compare the texture to tapioca balls. I think it would be great in a curry or another dish that has a lot of sauce to cover this in. To the eye it definitely gives the illusion of rice. Giving it 4 stars because I did not receive the intended product.

I paid over 20 dollars for what was described as "6 bags"...only received one. Updated - since discovering these at the grocery store I've placed two online orders. When the product arrives I have to open and check each 7oz pouch. IF THEY ARE SHRIVELED U OR YELLOW OR BROKEN DOWN DO NOT EAT. The noodles should be white, there should be no air bubbles in the pouch, and the color should be the same as the picture here online. If the water and noodles are yellow-ish, that also means it's bad. I don't know why though. Original Review: I discovered these 3/14 at the store when finding every shelf empty of food items on the pasta isle except for lasagna noodles. These are fantastic. They are portion packed and made with the same fiber you can buy in an herbal supplement capsule but the noodle portion/serving itself works 100% better than taking the herbal supplement in capsule form; I'm not sure why. I do wish the price were lower or they sere sold in case quantities.

This is best pasta replacement i have ever found. Minimum you could buy was 2 6packs and i don't regret it cause they only cost me $7!!. Best part is that its pretty much cooked already so all you have to do is rinse under water and then add it to whatever you are cooking. I use it mostly to replace the pasta in Alfredo, spaghetti and meatballs and in chicken noodle soup. The noodles just as they are probably won't taste good as they have little taste. But they soak up the flavor of whatever sauce you add them to or cook with really well. They are the best option if you're on a keto diet and looking for low carb alternatives. They have 4g of carb and 3 of those grams are fiber so net carb per serving is 1g. The noodle are packaged in a liquid to preserve the moisture. 1 pack came with two individual packages inside and a serving size is 1/2 of the individual package. I saw other persons saying they received some that were dried out and not good but that's not the case for me. All mine were perfect! I would definitely recommend buying! its great value for your money and very easy to use.

I tried this product without boiling - Tough and chewy. Then I tried boiling it for 2 minutes - still chewy. Then for 5 min - still chewy. Then I checked a similar product (Better than Pasta) and they suggest after rinsing to put it in a pan and heat it to dry it out. This is to allow the sauce to absorb into the pasta. So I tried that. It was still chewy at first, but as I was getting to the last of the pasta it became much more tender. So next time after 'frying' it in a frying pan I will let it set for 10 minutes. I believe it will work just like the last 1/4 of the plateful. Incidentally the sauce I used was Vindaloo Cooking Sauce. Great but very hot! They recommend to mix it with yogurt to lessen the heat. (I didn't do this as I have CKD and have to watch my protein and dairy intake. I have to say that it was very acceptable for the last few bites. I'll try it again tomorrow and let it set longer to see if that does the trick. Tried it again next day: this time I boiled it for only 2 minutes then "fried" it until moisture gone, then turned off heat and added the sauce and let it stand for 8 minutes. It was better - still chewy but not like rubber bands. Next time I will let it boil for five minutes and let it stand in the sauce for 8-10 minutes like I meant to this time.

Love this shirataki spaghetti. The texture is a little different than regular wheat spaghetti but it's a great substitute. There are 2 pouches inside so I love the convenience of eating only one portion at a time. There is a funky smell when you open the pouch but the smell will go away after you rinse the noodles thoroughly and squeeze out the water (as instructed on the packaging). This noodle is almost tasteless on its own (if it's rinsed thoroughly) and soaks up the pasta sauce nicely. My picky kids love it especially with extra cheese added to it and prefer it to the wheat spaghetti :)

I was hesitant to purchase this off amazon because of the reviews where people received dried out/old noodles. I have ordered twice now (12 packs), and have not had a single defective pack! I'm either lucky or this problem was resolved. I prefer this brand of noodle for a few reasons; bang for your buck; buying a 210g pack of nupasta is the same price as a 400g pack of the livia zeroodle. texture; the addition of the oat fibre gives the noodles a chewier/thicker texture. gives it that al-dente feel the 'shirataki smell'; every shirataki product despite the brand has that nasty fish smell (i hold my breath while rinsing the noodles), i find the livia zeroodle noodles are easier to get the smell off, probably because i can man handle the noodles in the sink without them breaking apart, they're less delicate than other shirataki noodles moisture; i think, again, because of the texture, getting some moisture out of the noodles takes less time, i head up the noodles in a sauce pan for a couple minutes, letting the water steam out, before adding pasta sauce A lot of the bad reviews have to do with people being unfamiliar with how to prepare shirataki products. 1. RINSE the noodles in the sink, in a strainer, until bad smell is gone 2. place noodles in sauce pan on stove, no cooking oil needed, heat noodles to steam out some moisture 3. add salt, pepper, seasoning, directly to noodles 4. once enough moisture is eliminated, prepare dish in saucepan as you would any other noodle dish (add sauce, meat, veggies, etc).

We have ordered this item six times previously and enjoyed them very much as a staple in our modified Keto diet. Not sure if they changed the formula or just shipped the wrong item but this item was awful !!! As soon as we opened the package we saw it was much smaller and thinner than previous orders; not even close to spaghetti diameter but much, much smaller. Even smaller than Angel pasta. That would be OK but they weren't chewable at all, almost stiff/crunchy like eating dental floss! In fact, halfway through dinner I had to go and grab some dental floss to clean out short (1/2") strings of this stuff stuck between many teeth. Now maybe this was just old but I really think it's a totally different product than we've had before and it's virtually inedible! The final insult is when we went to request a return we find out No Returns available because it's a food item. I'd beg to differ that this is actually food but it definitely won't be ordered to our house again. And the remaining packages are now garbage I guess. Thanks Amazon!
