These are great, not just for drafts but for noise too! They come with the outer casing plus some foam cylinders to fit in them—you just cut the foam to size and put them in the casing and slide the whole thing under your door. They help keep sound (whether it’s dogs barking or people making noise in the house) and the cold out of my room. Actually our new place has a utility room that has a hole in the wall for a cubby that used to be the storage area for the router, and it lets in a huge draft when we have high winds here (which happens frequently), so I put one of these on the door for that room and voila, the draft no longer gets through there! I’ve repurchased this several times because I like it so much, and I even put some for the door to my guest bedroom to help guests get a better night’s rest. I even put it in my office to keep my confidential client conversations from carrying and to prevent outside noise from coming in. They are super effective not just for carpeted floors but for tile and wood flooring too (I use them across all three types). They even work for the double doors to the master bedroom—we recently changed the flooring from carpet to tile and without these, you could hear everything! Now that we’ve put these in, you really can’t hear anything anymore and it’s awesome

I absolutely could not figure out how to secure the end to the door so I ended up snipping it off and stapling it shut. Otherwise, this is a great draft stopper. It’s thick, but it doesn’t make it difficult to open or close the door. It did stop the draft and light from coming into the other room. It also has stopped any odors from candles or incense from leaving the room into the other rooms of the house. This product is pretty solid!

Easy to assemble, stickys have a nice tight grip so that it does not move. Once out of the box, I squeezed the sides a little to help it fluff and it fluffed up perfectly. I had to cut off about 2 inches to fit my door but it fit perfectly.

This product has some big pluses and some big minuses. On the plus side, it does appear to keep out any draft once it is installed. Installation is quite easy, once you figure out how to do it. On the minus side, the foam that gets inserted into the cover comes in sections about a foot long, and they need taped together with the included tape before installation. Also, if you have less than a 36 inch door, the velcro strips on the cover are not long enough, and you just have to count on pressure to keep the whole thing closed. Lastly, instructions English not goodly too and difficult reading assembling. Not recommended.

I purchased this door draft stopper for a bedroom door that lets in a lot of hallway light (and sound). Overall, it does a good job at blocking light and muffling noise when the door is fully closed, and it’s easy to install. You simply cut it to length, slip the foam into the fabric slots, and slide it under the door — installation took just a few minutes. The biggest issue for me is that my door is set slightly higher off the hardwood floor. Because of that, when I open or close the door, the stopper tends to slide under the gap and create some resistance. It’s not unusable, but it is inconvenient. I imagine on a door closer to the floor, this wouldn’t be a problem. As for quality, it’s foam — so it’s not meant to be heavy-duty, but it’s sturdier than I expected. The foam doesn’t tear or crumble easily, and it holds its shape well. This isn’t a security device, but in theory, if someone tried to open the door from the outside, it would add a little resistance since it wedges under the door. For the price, I think it’s a fair buy, especially for doors with less clearance at the bottom. It works well in most situations, and my issue is probably unique to the way my door is built. TL;DR: Easy to install, blocks light and sound effectively, but if your door sits too high above the floor, it may slide under when opening/closing.

Rubbish

I use this for the bottom of our apartment door to keep the noise and cooking smells of the hallway out, and muffle the barking of our dogs. It works! I tried another brand, but the foam was too small and it kept getting stuck under the door. This one has larger foam ‘noodles’ and they float over the threshold. It is the best double draft blocker I have seen. I got this one as my son uses it in his condo too.

It stopped the strong draft that would sweep cold air into our unit. It also stopped the whistle sound that. Was produced with other draft products we tried. My only concern is how durable the fabric will be and since it is a smooth silky material I had to use back to back tape to keep it in place. Time will tell how well it will last.
