Easy to use at home treatment, especially if not easy to go to the doctor's office for treatment....
I have one plantar wart. I noticed it in late February and saw my doctor just before things closed down in mid-March. He did a cryotherapy treatment and clearly let me know that it may or may not work and a second treatment may be required; in my case, it did not work. Followed up with my doc via a virtual appointment, got the OK to try out salicylic acid. He indicated to try it for 4 - 6 weeks. I purchased this product due to its higher percentage of salicylic acid and the comments of some of the reviewers. It is easy to apply. I apply after my foot and the wart area are completely dry after a shower and then cover it with a band aid. That helps keep the medicine from being rubbed off by your sock or such. Also, I don't like seeing it more than I have to :-). The acid results in the skin shedding itself in overdrive mode and I have had large pieces of skin come off (there is new skin underneath it). So far, the wart it still there. My doc indicated that it a long process and in the end I still may have to go with another round of cryotherapy and, if that does not work, I can have it surgically removed. I have read they can eventually resolve on their own, but that can take years. I would be less pressed about it going away if it were not painful when walking. I can say that the area has become less painful after about four weeks of using this product as the wart and the irritated area around it have become smaller. And, on an important practical note, part of it being easy to apply is that it comes in a chapstick-like applicator, so be careful to not accidentally apply it to your lips ;-). In case you're wondering how this product may be helpful in treating plantar warts -- per WebMD, this is how salicylic acid works: "This medication is used on the skin to treat common skin and foot (plantar) warts. Salicylic acid helps cause the wart to gradually peel off. This medication is also used to help remove corns and calluses. This product should not be used on the face or on moles, birthmarks, warts with hair growing from them, or genital/anal warts. Salicylic acid is a keratolytic. It belongs to the same class of drugs as aspirin (salicylates). It works by increasing the amount of moisture in the skin and dissolving the substance that causes the skin cells to stick together. This makes it easier to shed the skin cells. Warts are caused by a virus. Salicylic acid does not affect the virus."

No one mentioned how much pain it would cause... but it WORKED!
I wish so much I took pics of before, during and after. The product works... I have been battling a wart on my finger/under my nail for almost 2 years. Have gotten it frozen off by a dermatologist, treated it with compound W, tried essential oils, manuka honey, apple cider vinegar... EVERYTHING, and all anything ever did was upset the wart and it would end up bigger and uglier, and came back with a vengeance. With each of those attempts, I could never get all the seeds to go away, and each treatment was REALLY painful. So I read a ton of the reviews on this WartStick, and decided that I would give it a try. It arrived and I had been attempting to treat my wart was manuka honey and manuka oil (alternating each day which one I used for about a week). The honey made the texture of the wart softer, so I'm wondering if that helped. The manuka oil was less diluted, and very effective at causing the wart to feel irritated, but not too much pain. Once I got the WartStick, I applied it immediately, being careful to only apply it to the wart and not the surrounding skin. I put a bandaid over it and when I woke up the next morning, it was much more aggravated, red and with some minor pain. I cleaned it up, reapplied the WartStick and bandage and this time didn't check back on it for a full 24 hrs... at that time the pain was HORRIBLE (not one review mentioned how much this would hurt, I wanted to throw up from the amount of pain my little pinky finger was in)! Worse then any attempt I had ever made to rid myself of this wart. It was red, my finger was swollen and I was questioning going to the doctor, worried about an infection. I decided that I would let it breathe without a bandaid or any kind of 'treatment'. 2 days of letting it breathe and scab over, I woke up that morning and part of the scab had lifted, so I went to lightly rub it off (to avoid it getting snagged) when all of the sudden the entire scab lifted off and to my surprise there wasn't a black seed to be seen!! It's been about a week now since I first applied the WartStick, my skin is still healing, but doesn't hurt whatsoever, there is still no signs of the black wart seeds and I've been making sure to apply a good quality cuticle oil to my finger, to care for the new skin. Because of where this wart was located, my nail bed may never be back to it's pretty self, but for the first time since having this wart, I feel like I have hope that it will not be returning. Please note that this will indeed become painful, but as for now, I see no signs of the wart returning and to me it was worth the pain. On another note, I've read that sometimes the hard to get rid of warts, have to become 'infected' for your body to fight them... I believe this product did that for me, quickly and effectively! I will update if this pesky wart returns, but for now I am hopeful that WartStick kicked it's butt.

Works very quickly
This product is so much better than typical wart treatments. Liquid wart removers and even plantar wart removers contain less than half of the active ingredient than this wart stick doesnโt I also believe that the waxy stick formulation of the wart stick helps to keep it where itโs supposed to be vs the wart remover liquid. My son has a wart on his knee that weโve been treating with liquid for over 6 months. It wasnโt getting bigger but it certainly wasnโt going away either. I bought the wart stick and after 3 treatments the wart fell off. I found it best to apply the stick and cover with a bandage. I have another family member with stubborn plantar warts on the foot and Iโm hoping the wart stick is as quick and effective on it as well. Wart stick will be my first line wart treatment from now on. It works.

My most favorite and best product of wart remover I ever ordered ...
My most favorite and best product of wart remover I ever ordered ever! *PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A PROCESS, NOT RUSHED* For about 2-3 years I had warts on all my fingers, which made me felt self conscious since all my warts were huge and contained many seed warts, especially since i'm an art major, in which my hands were always exposed and even hurt a lot because of the excess skin that was being pressed upon, (Majority on my thumbs and ring fingers). I've tried all sorts of products from Dr.Scholl's freeze wart remover that costed me $24, (Which made my warts spread and get bigger) to Bazkua Extra Strength Remover which varies from $10-$20 (it prevented the spreading but the warts regrew, as well as it was a very messy process to apply and painful to remove). While reading this product, I was a bit skeptical due to some reviews were having mixed views about it, so I figured why not try it out for myself. After doing some experiments, I found out this small process work out best for me (might help for you too): 1. either rub on or use a small makeup spatula to apply a thick layer of the product to the infected area. 2. COVER THE INFECTED AREA WITH BANDAGE (Preferred to do overnight). 3. Repeat steps 1-2 for a few days until the wart peels (varies, usually take 2-4 days) 4. Once you removed pieces of the wart, apply Aloe Vera onto the wart and cover it with a bandage for a day 5. Wash the infected area and repeat with the Wart Stick until all warts are gone (would takes at least 2-6 weeks) It was so pain free and so easy to do, that I managed to get rid of almost all warts, but I do want to remind that it is a process and warts don't just disappear within days(Warts are causes by viruses, and they're difficult to get rid of). And to think you get a pack of 2 for at least $14 ($7 for each), fits within college budget. I would totally recommend this product for those who have stubborn warts like I did!

Prefer gel over the stick
I did not like the stick applicator. It felt clumsy trying to apply it to a certain area - some reviews have suggestions to make it easier. The gel is pretty simple; so I'm going back to that. Effectiveness didn't see any faster or slower than the other brands (I'm switching halfway through to gel).

I've had planter warts for 15+ years, and this works!
I first noticed my warts on my feet when I was in middle school. And since then, I've tried everything. I used duct tape, over the counter freezing, callus remover, and regular trips to the dermatologist. If I lost diligence, the callus would grow and make it difficult to walk. I was always embarrassed to be barefoot around people. I would always have socks on, even around my boyfriend! Every doctor I went to would comment on how my warts were the largest they've ever seen. So that's a confidence booster. One dermatologist I had recommended salicylic acid, so I found the product with the highest percent of that. This wart stick has 40%(!). All other products I found had 10-15%. I smeared this on my many warts 1-2xs a day for months. It's been 1.5 years since I started buying this product, and I have to say that I've seen a 90-95% reduction of my warts. I can be barefoot without being embarrassed for the first time in my adult life, I don't completely clean the bathtub after I shower for fear of passing warts to my family. I'm free! So, this WORKS, and it's easy to use. Compared to weekly trips to the dermatologist, it's super cheap! if I could give it more stars, I would. If you're struggling with warts, please buy this product! Good luck!
