703185 Graphite Tube 3G, White Key Lock Lubricant

Great product and works exactly as expected. I’ve used this graphite lubricant for years on locks and keys with great results. Helps locks turn smoothly without buildup and is easy to apply. Definitely a handy item to keep around the house, I always have some on hand.

My key was hard to insert in the door, so I used WD-40 to lubricate it. That made the problem worse. Then I did research on door lock lubricants. Graphite was recommended so I decided to try the Hillman 703185 graphite tube. Applying it to the keyhole it looked like glitter was being sprayed inside however, it did the trick, and now my key received no friction from inserting it into the keyhole.

My 2019 f150 ignition was sticking forward a little bit and for the dealer to look at it was going to be $149 I said never mind I will try this granite lubricant and it worked fabulous

This product is excellent. I could not believe the effectiveness vs oil based lubricant - which I learnt are not the correct way to maintain locks. Highly recommend!

I grew up back in the late 60s and 70s. We had a lot of different things that people were more aware of than others. Here's an example is graphite most people have no idea what it's for. They even still sell three and one oil. I don't care who you are if you were living in the 60s and 70s you had a can of three in one oil. That's before WD-40. What this does it applies a silver in color powder on what you need lubricated. This is a big thing with locks. There wasn't anybody I didn't know who had this inner door locks of their cars then you have people who put it in every lock in their house especially the bathroom. I'm not going to lie this is sort of messy you just have to watch how hard you squeeze the tube. You barely have to touch it and it has graphite coming out immediately. The only reason I had to buy another tube is that the one I had since the '60s has been misplaced by my wife. I just found this out that she threw it away years ago thinking it was junk. She's younger than I am and she didn't know what it did or what it was for.

Furthermore, the fact that this product did not fix my issue means that I wasted both my time and money on something that offered no value. It's disappointing to invest in a product that not only failed to deliver its promised benefits but also resulted in additional frustration. In conclusion, the Hillman 703185 Graphite Tube 3G in White was a disappointment in every sense of the word. It did not help fix my key lock problem as advertised, and the powdered substance it contains only added to my frustration. I would strongly caution others against purchasing this product if they're looking for an effective solution to their key lock issues. Save your time, money, and sanity by exploring other alternatives that have a proven track record of success.
