Perfect replacement for hinge on door only
After buying my house I found 2 extra cabinets and a bag of hinges/mounts in the garage, so I decided to hang them in my workshop. Only problem was the bag of hardware only had enough hinges (door part) to mount 3 of the 4 doors. After measuring the depth and bore diameter of the holes already on the doors it seemed these were the right fit and the same brand, and indeed they arrived today and I just installed the 4th door no problems.Pay attention to the description you need 2 parts to mount your door, the part that screws to the door, and the part that screws to the cabinet. I ordered and received only the door hinge part as that was all that I needed.

Works great - no need to replace entire hinge set - this is the one you need!
Some of our kitchen cabinet hinges had popped and would not stay closed. I have been searching for new Salice hinges but couldn’t find any until now. These are the part that installs onto the door itself, which is the part that contains the spring. You just remove the hinge from the door, reinstall and snap it back onto the base that is mounted onto your cabinet frame. There is no need to spend three times as much for the whole hinge set!

these are good hinges but it is not clear which are self close and which are soft closeI ended up ordering 3 sets before I got the right ones

Easy to install. It is hinge side only..fixed mount is separate. Slide onto fixed component and secure the hinge with small latch on fixed part...

It’s only a half of a hinge not a full hinge- BEWARE
This is actually NOT a full hinge!!! So if you only need to replace the spring side of the hinge then it will work. If you need to replace the base side of the hinge, or want to replace a hinge, well this won’t work because they sell it as only a half of a hinge. Not sure what the point of that is.

Close, but not always a replacement for older hinges from the same manufacturer.
While it appears to be the same hinge as I wanted to replace from about 18 years ago, it didn't have the adjustment capability of the older version. I was able to use the hinge in another location, so I don't feel bad about the deal, but if the hinge is used in a dual door setup - with two doors opening to a single area, the hinge doesn't adjust to close the gap between the doors in the center as is possible with the older hinge. The hinge works fine where there is only one door to deal with.
