Review: Informative - Great and informative , whether my daughter uses it for herr travels or relies on an app , I’m not sure but she will definitely take it with her . Heavy of course as it’s a large book but necessary. Review: Must have for travelling! - We used this on our four-month backpacking trip. I used it to find restaurant and cafe recommendations in each town and city, as well as for things to do and see. It was very up to date, and contained lots of helpful information that you might need (embassy info, maps, basic language phrases, sim card info, visa, border crossings, transport info, etc.) A lot of the places which were supposedly $ = budget places, were slightly more expensive sometimes than we would have liked (we were on a backpackers budget), however on the whole we tried lots of places as recommended in this book, and we have had positive experiences! The only place that needs updating in it is Sihanoukville, Cambodia - I would not recommend going here any more. Also, this book might be a dealbreaker item for a traveller, due to its size and weight, but I'm SO glad we brought it. Definitely recommend to any one looking to travel around Asia.

Highly useful and great value for money
Really recommend this guide - I'm going backpacking round South East Asia soon and have used this book to help me plan a lot of my trip. It has great detail and recommendations and is very user friendly/clearly laid out. It's a steal at this price, considering the individual country guides are about the same cost as this one!

Does a solid job, reliable guide book. It was my bible during 6 months travels, along with online resources. Lots of good general history, overview and tips, such as transport destinations times and distance, border crossing, maps of country, cities and its highlights very helpful, also liked the "don't miss", "off the beaten track" and "worth trip" sections. It is organized logically, has a good flow. I would suggest more color, this would make it more easier to find things. Also, some places no longer exist, but I think this is due to unpredictability of the pandemic. The book is thick and heavy, almost 800g, but worth to carry for me, I was much more confident traveling and planning with it.

I bought the PDF edition. It was perfect to carry around in my tablet and reading it anywhere. Gives you all the tips and info to make the travel experience more complete.
