Took me ages to find something like this that would work and also do the job which it should do.My iPhone dock doesn't have a lightning port long enough to fit my phone with its case on and instead of buying a new case or a new dock I just decided to buy this and try it out.It works fine charging my phone and all with a strong and sturdy connection to both my dock and my phone.Highly recommend to people with the same issue that I faced!

Initial impressions are excellent. Nicely packaged. Build quality looks good. Used it once so far, worked perfectly first time. Bought this to connect iPhone 7 to VW's in-car MMI system (which has a very short cable on the supplied connector and would mean the device would have to sit in the storage compartment), so this will extension cable will enable the iPhone to be windscreen mounted for sat-nav use.

This has saved my day being able to extend the VW MDI lightning connector which personally I think has a ridiculously stupidly short cable which led to me accidentally breaking the complimentary one that came with the car on purchase,It works perfectly extending the cable long enough that I can easily mount my phone on a mounter(?) slotted into the CD slot with enough cable slack if I needed to dashboard mount.Worth getting to extend stupid short bespoke connector adaptors for Apple lightning connections.

Bought to extend the very expensive and ridiculously short media interface cable on a Mercedes-Perfect fit and does everything.Update liked it so much have bought another 2M extension cable as I had just invested in an iStick and in order to use with iPhone or iPad I would have to take the case off, however with this simply plug the extension cable into both the phone/pad and the iStick and you are sorted

I needed an extension lead to allow me to use my Zoom iQ5 mic off my phone. I had searched for a couple of weeks until I finally stumbled on this lead. It seems be be of nice quality and to do the job, It would be really useful to have leads of different lengths and, in particular, to have one with a right angled lightning plug which would be really useful when using a gimbal.Good service from supplier too.

Purchased to extend the iPhone cable in my Mercedes as they expect you to put phone into the centre console each time. Now I just leave this cable hanging out and place on passenger seat. Have used for around 4 months and the cable is still great condition with no wear visible. As I'm using everyday would be happy if I get a years use at this price. Also getting no incompatible accessories error like you do sometimes with cheaper cables.

When using this lead on my car stereo, I got the usual ‘this product is not supported’ type message. I could not get my music to play and just got a ‘searching’ message on the stereo. The reason I have given three stars is because I’ve found a work around. If the phone is plugged in before I turn the car on it will connect and functions absolutely fine.

No issues, charging works well and at full speed, with music streaming correctly. Durable enough to be shut in a glove box hinge repeatedly.Recommended to anyone.
