Old TV
It works Great this is my second one , i lost the first one when i stored this tv in the closet, good thing i didnt listen to people and throw it away because there was nothing wrong with my tv , just upgraded and the upgrade died before this old tv did,so i pulled it back out and im back in bussiness .Easy to set up and connect to my firestick, this tv had none of the new connect ports just the yellow white and red plug in

New Roku can play on very old tv
My old Roku is no longer being supported, so I had to get a new one. They no longer make them with the red, yellow and white RCA plug-ins and I needed to go from my Digital adaptor to the ancient (sentimental attachment) tube tv. This adaptor worked fine, though I had to locate a way to plug it in to an electric source. (yet another adaptor) The picture is fine and being able to get all of the Roku channels for that elderly tv is a relief.

Turned my TV at the beach house into a Smart TV with a Roku
Easy to install, turned my TV at the beach house into a Smart TV ๐บ โฅ ***** update.. I ordered the device in July at $6.98 & the price has now doubled? Why? The device was very easy to plug into the back of my old TV and then have an HDMI port to plug in a Roku to stream from my internet. I almost put that big TV in the dumpster until I found this device and it was perfect for converting the older TV into a Smart TV. The prices of inflation! Guess it is cheaper than a new TV.

Did not work on my old TV
I originally bought it to convert my old cable ready TV to HDMI to attach a Roku. It didn't work. I did try it on an older flat screen TV/monitor, and it worked great! I think the first TV was just too old.

Solid product. Does exactly what it's supposed to do.
Simple, well constructed, and works quite well. Cables are of high quality. Excellent, responsive customer service. (If you have no USB port available for power, you will need an AC-to-USB adapter. An Apple power cube works fine.)

defective
I tried this device on two tvs would not work on either. I need to mail it back but only options are UPS (20 miles away and I don't drive or Staples, also 20 miles away. Something this small and defective should be able to be mailed by postal service.

It works but not hdmi quality
It works good enough. Really easy to install but does not come out of box to plug and play. You will need an USB outlet box. Like the kind you need for a cell phone. Don't expect a clean crisp picture. It's definitely not hdmi gravity. But I am happy enough. It made my garage tv work.

Plug & Play, Works Perfectly
When Rogers switched us to Ignite TV one of our TVs did not have HDMI connections. This converter was easy to install and, with the Ignite box's video output set to 1080i, provides sharp video and good stereo audio on an older LG HDTV that doubles as a PC monitor. The converter is powered by a HDMI cable (included) so one does need to have an HDMI equipped electrical source nearby.
