Excellent amp and customer service
The amp is just crushing, it sounds incredible. I had a few questions and the seller was quick to respond and ensure that all was good. Great customer service.

Budget amp
The clean channel is workable but lets face it most of us by this style amp for rock/metal. Channel 2 with the built in boost is great for rhythm. Channel 3 is high gain and can be pushed more with the built in boost. This is good for solos, live applications, and for being heard in the mix. I boosted channel 2 with a maxon 808x and it works very well I just did not enjoy the maxon. For me the built in boost works fine and doesnt overly do the mids and treble. I will test out with a fortin grind or Tubescreamer and update my review. The amp is very loud and I can get decent tones at low volume. I am running the head through a 2x12 RD V30 cab. I am relatively new to tube amps having played the Blackstar 60w Metal and the Peavey 6505 mini. I prefer the Randall Diavlo over both those amps. The boxing did arrive a little beat up and there are 2 or 3 marks on the head itself. Foot switch works well and I have gotten an hour or two of playing with no issues. Update: Been playing at louder volumes for practice and this amp is very hard to dial in. The sound is very dry and to get good clear gain while boosted, you lose a little tone and sustain. Bedroom volumes the amp sounded great, now in a band situation even boosted is mush and harshness. I have tried a maxon 808x, Ts-9 and fortin grind. It lacks the warmth and tone of a Mesa.

Really great tone
Sounds awesome with great heavy metal distortion. I'm running it through a 25W 12" Celestion greenback. Great tone at low volumes for practicing but still gets loud. Very well made. Arrived quickly no problems.

Worst sounding amp I have ever played
Honestly this amp was one of the worst sounding amps I have ever played. It was extremely muddy, you can’t dial in any kind of real sound other than just deep muddy growl. I play a lot of metal and this head should not be called a metal amp. The clean channel was fine and had a lot of headroom so if you wanted to use it as a pedal platform it would be fine in that regard. Channel 2 and 3 are just so bad. I don’t understand the positive reviews saying it sounds amazing... maybe mine was defective because I like I said I have never played anything as bad as this head. I used it in a stereo set up with my DR and I had it running through a V30 2x12... it looked awesome.. sounded like completely garbage. I highly recommend playing one before buying.

Do your research
Well first off. The reviews and YouTube videos on this were misleading. I received my first head and it worked for 2 days. I then returned and received a replacement. Same exact result. The sound was decent at most. I play heavy metal. And it was not enough gain. I tried boost pedals eq etc.. Regardless it just stopped working. Got a refund. I’ll stick to my line 6 or Marshall’s

Excellent product. Worksmanship is flawless
Excellent product. Worksmanship is flawless. Goes incredibly loud. Distortion for days. This amp is surprisingly versatile. The clean channel is beautiful and articulate, although it might not stay sparkly clean at higher volume levels. But at bedroom and basement jam levels, it sounds fantastic. You can roll off the gain a bit and get a nice shimmering chord sound that works well for indie and grunge rock styles. The boost function acts like an overdrive pedal volume boost, and really gives the amp another level of harmonic sound. This thing will go quite heavy although once you turn the gain knob past 4:00 it starts to muddy up a bit. I like it best at around 2:00 for a saturated lead sound. All in all, this is a real bang for your buck. I hear swapping the tubes wakes this guy up even further.

Perfect amp for home studio recording - 5w of tube goodness
Super easy to use - just a few simple dials - got great cleans myself out of this with my Les Paul , by just turning down gain... all sorts of distortion available at mid to high volume , and at 5w its really loud, but not so loud that your ears bleed like a 50 or 100w amp! It looks better in person - its wrapped in leather! I love it...hear it soon on Amazon music when I release my new album under the artist Spike!

Otherwise the sound is good and musical
Lotta reviews say this is a high gain amp with lots of gain on tap. Be aware that this is not quite true. The gain is growly and does not saturate. The included Ruby tubes are veeeery trebley especially on the cleans. I'm debating a tube switch, adding an MXR 10 band eq, or just shipping it back. I wanted an all-in-one high gain head and this is not it. To get anywhere near saturated I needed to run the boost at all times. Otherwise the sound is good and musical, just needs a bit of help and I didn't want to run pedals on this rig. I tried this with two different guitars, a stock Jackson late-80's soloist, and my custom OAF 8 string with Blackout pups. Using a Budda 4x10 cabinet, which if anything should have better dispersion at lower volumes than 12" speakers. I've read some reviews saying assembly on these is iffy and to check the tube pins and such. I haven't done that yet. I will give it another run though tonight and check the tubes, then I will have to decide what to do with it.

Great Little Amp
Awesome sounding little head. Gain for days and lots of sound shaping abilities with the tone switch.

1 watts?

Amazing amp
Got this amp from amazon (RD45H Diavlo) not the 5W, the best deal of the year for me. Some reviews claim that amps amazon was selling were used and in some cases defective. I don't know if I was lucky or that guy was the unlucky one but the one I got is new, sounds amazing and I've been using it almost daily since January 2020 and no issues at all. I

Gros son petit budget
Un véritable monstre!!! Pour les amateurs de gros son bien lourd tout en restant très propre! Prise en main relativement simple et esthétiquement beau! Une bonne tête qui met à l'amande beaucoup de tête bien plus coûteuse !
