If you’re a Moana fan it’s a unique piece!
After watching Moana every day for the last 3 months with my two year old I became a fan. Currently this hook is hanging from my trucks Rear view mirror! Looks great and has good detail! People who haven’t seen the movie always complement it just as a decoration!

nice product, cruddy packaging.
I wish I could give this a 4.5 out of 5, which is actually about where it lands as of right now. I just got the product, which I intend to give as a present to my brother who is an avid fisherman. The necklace is just the right size, simple, and earthy, which in my opinion really captures the feel of fishing. It looks just like it does in the picture, and I even like the adjustments at the top of the necklace. The reason this necklace doesn't deserve 5 stars is because of how it's packed. It comes bubble wrapped so it is completely safe, but it comes in a really crumby looking sealed plastic bag. The problem with this is that this is obviously a product that most people would buy to give as a present to someone, and in present giving, presentation matters. In this case the difference between 'oh...cool.' and 'oh cool!' is the difference between a cruddy looking plastic bag around it, and a 50 cent cardboard jewelry box. I loved this necklace
I loved this necklace, wore it every day and the craftsmanship was phenomenal. But the string that the necklace is made out of is very weak, do not, and I mean do not, put much if any weight/strain on it because it will break.

The real deal
Exactly as pictured. It does NOT have a flat back. Carving is really good, but only on one side which is fine with me. The hook is correct, not “stylization”. Made in Hawaii. Real wood. The bottom line is it’s the real deal you find in the islands without the inflated island price.

I absolutely love Hawaii. I meant to get my nephew one of these when I was just there and I forgot. I liked this one because of being carved out of the wood and I'm glad I did. It is really nice and he loves it. I had gotten him one on another trip and that was some other material and not the Koa. This is much much better. Can't go wrong.
