REVIEW AUTHORBIO Review: The only way Iโll remember which year was the "dinosaur phase" - If you are like me and have a "system" for school memories that currently involves a disorganized pile of finger paintings and crumpled permission slips, you need this book. It covers everything from the tiny preschool days all the way to high school graduation, giving you a dedicated spot for photos, height charts, and those hilarious "what I want to be when I grow up" answers. The hardcover-spiral design is a lifesaver because it actually stays flat while youโre trying to glue in a class photo, and the integrated pockets are perfect for stashing report cards or the occasional award that you can't bear to toss. Itโs sturdy, well-organized, and helps you create a high-end heirloom without needing a degree in scrapbooking. If you want to look back in ten years and actually see the growth instead of just wondering where the time went, this is the perfect project to start! Review: Great way to record all types of school memories - This scrap/record book is great! It's just what I wanted. It has places for school, class and other photos, somewhere to write little tidbits and favorites, a place to put papers and artwork, and it runs the gamut of pre-K to the end of high school (U.S. standards). As some had noted, it is not 11 inches tall, so it doesn't accommodate full 8 1/2 x 11 paper, but all the books I looked at were this way, and we get much larger projects home anyway. I always scan art projects before folding them if I am worried about preserving original quality. It is sturdy, and the pages open easily without worrying about breaking the binding. One feature that drew me to this book over similar products is the fact that it wasn't designed with a young kid focus. Since this is to be used through high school, I didn't want something with a children's design. In addition to the versatile visual design, the questions and options change over time to fit the age of the student, and there is a nice page at the end for a senior to write about their dreams for the future. I am very happy with our purchase. I am considering purchasing one for my two-year-old right now to ensure I get this design.

Awesome School Memory Book, But I Hate to Fold Papers to Fit Them In The Pockets
I got this book for my sister's triplets (one book for each) and my sister and I were very pleased! I love that this book includes Pre-K as many similar books did not, and it goes all the way up to 12th grade. It's great to be able to keep all school years in one book. I also loved that there is a photo spot for each grade level and that there are writing prompts for each section about new friends, how the child felt on the first day of school, and spots to write their favorite songs, colors, etc. It's a fantastic way to summarize the year and offer a snapshot into the school year and the child's likes at the time that they can look back on in later years. I really like that it doesn't take much time to complete each section for the parent, but it still makes a great memory album. I'm giving it 4 stars because I do wish there was more space to write or add your own things to each grade other than the prompted items. Also, while I love the pockets to hold artwork, awards, and report cards, they do NOT hold standard size paper (8.5x11), meaning you have to fold them. Overall, a highly recommended record book for parents!

Great Memory Book! Wish I had it last year!
This is a nice book. I didn't realize it goes from Preschool up to 12th grade. I thought it started at Kindergarten. I went over the Kindergarten pages with my son last night. It includes questions like who are your new friends, what did you learn new in school this year, and what is your favorite food, color, playground, etc. It's nice to have the little questions there because he will get to look back on this for years to come. There is a slot to place in report cards, special drawings and notes, etc. It is perfect for what we need now, but I do wonder will I have way more than this pocket can fit in future years? The questions change as the child gets older. Instead of answering what is your favorite color? They are answering questions about the sports teams they are on or the volunteer work that they are doing. I like it. I just wish I had it last year so that I could have his preschool page filled out. Oh! And one more part. At the top of each grade's page, it asks for the child's signature. I love that he will get to see how his signature developed over the years.

Great, simple, practical memory book
I looked and looked for a suitable memory book for my son. Read all the various reviews and even went around town so I could actually see the various avaiable books. I wanted something that I didn't have to pour hours over, but at the same time I could jot down some quick notes, have a place for him to write his name, etc.. and store his papers and report cards. Plus, I decided I really did want something that was Pre-K through 12. This definitely did the trick. It's not as fancy as some, but I love the pockets (plenty of room to hold things), the ability to put one or two photos, the places to write and best of all, the elastic band around the book to keep it together if it gets really full! Plus, its not too expensive. My son is only in Kindergarten, but I know I will enjoy filling this out with him over the years. If you are looking for a really cutsey, more of a scrapbooking type memory book...this might not be for you. But, if you want something pratical, that more than covers the basis, is a good size (holds an normal size piece of paper without folding)...then I highly recommend this book.

Awesome book!
I love this book so much! I found it randomly at the book store for half-price, so I bought it for my daughter who was starting Kinder that year. I tore out the Pre-K page and it starts in Kinder for her, BUT my son just started Pre-K this year and I had to order this book (it's no longer in the store) and now I'm waiting on the book to arrive, but with it being the first day of school I'd love for anyone to comment the pre-k page to me, so I can write it down on paper and transfer it when I get it! :) But, seriously, about the book--I love that there's a spot for the pictures and signatures, you'd be amazed how much it changed from just kinder to first grade WOW! It does NOT fit regular sized paper, but I keep the smaller papers in here, or I'll fold in half, and for artwork and certificates, I have a separate file in my house for those. It's so worth the money and the wait to fill out the next year--my daughter loves writing in it. If you are on the fence, just get it, you'll love looking back on these!

Excellent book!
This is a GREAT book. I bought one for my son (4) and daughter (7). It starts with pre-school. There is a spot for the kids to put their signature. It has a space for a class photo and some fill in the blanks (favorite friend, activity, etc...). There is a pocket for a few papers or the report card. It is just enough to have a place to save a few favorites so when kids graduate they will have a nice, organized, concise memory book of their school years. It would actually make a great 1st birthday gift since parents are usually overwhelmed with toys. This is useful and not something first time parents may know about.

Great school memory book & How to remove the sticker
I had a book similar to this when I was in school and wanted to get one for my daughter now that she is in school. I chose this one because of the larger size and pre-k section. As other reviews have mentioned it will not fit 8 1/2 x 11 paper unfolded but I'm okay with folding paper to fit in here. The pages inside are not glossy so writing in pen won't smear. The information to fill in will capture memories and will be great to read over in the future. How to remove the green sticker on the front ---- use a hair dryer to warm the sticker for a minute, then start to peel back the sticker slowly with the hair dryer still on the sticker. You can aim the heat on the top or from underneath to release the glue. The sticker will come off almost effortlessly and if there is some sticky residue you can use the sticker to remove what remains. The book looks great without the sticker.

Good buy for a thoughtful gift
Couldnโt find an English version of this type of book anywhere. I went for this and figured Iโd risk it. Yes it say kindergarten and has reference to high school but generally it follows years 1 onwards just calling them grades. It will do the job intended to do. Pockets for photos etc and spaces to answer questions of which the wording change as the child gets older.

Perfect
This is a great memory book. Pre K to Gr 12. Has some questions you can ask your child, a place for their school photo and a pocket for class photo and some keepsakes. The pocket wouldn't hold anything too bulky, but it for a regular sized paper in it without bending it. A great way to keep everything in one place and see how their answers change year to year.

Easy way to save and record memories
Great book. Sturdy. Coil bound. Each year asks good questions apprpriate to the age. Lots of room to write. The pockets are folded on edges to make them wider to hold more papers or cards. It was a great find. Great gift for our 4 year olds as they enter preschool. The book is date as they ask for ht wt of kids each year. Editor/writer needs to change this. Past being a preschooler this is NOT appropriate or relevant. A child doesnt need attention to how tall or short or what they weigh! They are perfect.

Good book - a bit American
Item as described, a nice book lots of opportunities to save lovely memories. You have to translate the first few years from kindergarten etc. I would have preferred it A4 size but that is just me!
