Low quality
It wasn’t working right from the beginning. Constantly shuts off. Having issues with apple car play. Quality of sound is not good. Tried contacting support with no luck within 1 month of purchase. Few months ago it stopped working. $1500 thrown in the garbage.

SOOOOOO UPSET ABOUT THIS
I originally left a single star rating because the item I got was not the FRN model. I had taken work off and got just the straight 309 - which didn't work with my 4Runner. I did struggle to get the seller on the phone, and at that point left the review. However --- I did get them on the phone after the 3rd or 4th attempt and I COULD NOT BE MORE HAPPY! They overnighted me the right part, called and followed up with me, and even sent me a return label to ship the 309 unit back. Today I installed the unit. The install is a bit tricky for a novice like me. I watched every YouTube video on the install, took my time, did more research whenever I got confused or stuck, and about three hours later reconnected the negative battery terminal and turned on the key..... I am not sure precisely what I expected but I was literally BLOWN AWAY! The clarity, picture, sound, and ease of use was just out of this world. Now to be fair I also bought Alpine's dedicated head unit amp to go with it, but seriously - I could not be more pleased at this moment. PERFECT - and the follow up took it from a single star to 5 stars. BUY THIS UNIT IF YOUR LOOKING TO IMPROVE THE 4RUNNER SOUND!

Brought my 4Runner into this millennium as far as tech goes. So many features. You will not be disappointed

Ridiculous.
I think that in today’s market having a $1500 unit that doesn’t allow for wireless use is ridiculous. I mean seriously, I have to plug my phone in to get Apple play???
