New battery works
A bit tricky to install. Not all the advice online was easy to follow. Often it seemed like the tablet having its battery changed was my model but there were differences. Getting access to the battery was hard work..... Not because it is difficult but because I'm thinking that I am going to trash my tablet if I do summat wrong. Slow and steady.... Take your time. The enclosed tools helped ut a bitEasy to snap.Well the battery works and the battery life is back to better than normal.Worth the angst.

Avoid at all costs
The original battery have 27+ hours endurance for web browsing and heavy usage (can be verified in countless reviews online). This one has 4-5 hours of light usage (reading a book) or 1-1.5 hours of heavy (30-40 min playing games, 30-60 min web browsing).The tools which arrived with it were damaged and very obviously used.Look somewhere else for a battery.

One month of using: Battery runs out quickly.
I thought I'd give my old Samsung Tab S2 8" a treat, as its battery was no longer holding charge as it did, after years of use. But this battery is a PITA. I thought it may improve after a few charge cycles, but no. I feel a bit miffed.

Fantastic value.
Very easy to swap old battery, if a little fiddly. I was that impressed after a couple of weeks I bought a second for my wife's tablet, price is a plus😉.

This was quite difficult to install without damaging the back of the tablet. You really need to take your time prizing the back free - the included suction cup was surprisingly useful. It has revitalised a failing tablet for a fraction of the cost of a new one so overall a good purchase.
