Lightweight and Warm!
I bought this coat in a medium size and the cream/ivory color. I wanted it for a family winter outting that would take me from outdoor day fun to inside evening dinner. I layered it with a long sleeve tight shirt with a sweater and added a bulky scarf. I was able to be outside for hours without feeling cold. Temperatures were in the low 40s. It is stylish and comfortable. Easy to move around in, walking, sitting, shopping, etc. I had a little difficulty with starting the zipper but no issues other than that. It is good quality especially for the price! I may get it in black or camel color since it's so cute! I have worn it a few times to work since purchasing. So sitting in the car is comfortable. It is perfect to throw on for generally cold days. Happy with the purchase!

Love this coat!
Outstanding poppie red color. Not easy to find a coat with this color. I’m wearing an x-large size of this coat even though I’m only 5’4” 130#s. I have plenty of room for an additional layer if necessary. So soft and super lightweight. I suspect that a plastic lining is a layer that is sewn into the quilting and that explains how warm it can be. At times, I have to unzip it to vent out the accumulated heat but I’m fine with that. The hood is large enough to lightly pull over my head when there’s no wind but can easily be secured by tying a scarf around one’s neck. And, it is water resistant so mist and drizzly rain beads up. I have received sooo many compliments about this coat which of course just adds to its desirability. The only caveat is that you must exactly line up the zipper so that it closes properly which is not a problem for me. You just can’t be in a hurry and expect it to zip right up I’m guessing cold to warm water machine wash but only air dry this coat. Bottom line—I’m very happy with this coat!

Ok for Spring/Fall.
This is advertised as lightweight and it certainly is that. It is NOT a winter jacket unless you live somewhere warm. This will work for Minnesota Fall / Spring evenings that aren’t too windy and I like that because I always struggle finding good ‘in between’ jackets that are long enough to cover my backside and have nice hoods. This jacket has both of those assets. I usually wear an XL or size 12-14 in women’s clothing and this fits nicely with room to spare for a layer beneath. Another nice feature is that the zipper goes nice and high to keep your neck warm. You could easily rock a cozy gaiter beneath and keep your neck pretty toasty. I have to say though, this doesn’t have the feel of a sturdy jacket. I dare say it won’t take much more than rubbing up against a tree or something to tear this fabric, so as I am not the most graceful person sometimes, it won’t likely last long. At this price I wasn’t expecting it to be built like my name brand winter gear, but I was a bit surprised at how thin the outer fabric feels. BUT….I’m actively losing weight and hopefully next Fall this thing will be too large and I won’t feel bad about having trashed it while tromping around outdoors. All in all, it’s a decent enough jacket if you are wanting something cozy, lightweight, long and with a great hood. I would imagine that if you lived somewhere with mild winters this could get you by well enough as a winter jacket. For what I paid I’m content and will be busting it out very soon in the mornings to wear to work when the grass starts getting frosty.

This is a wonderful coat, especially at price point.
This coat is perfect in PA winter. Warm but not too warm, seems to regulate temp even in car or in a store. It's soft and lightweight, quality seems very nice to me, and it looks very nice. Yet is warm enough at single digit temps. I'm 5'7" 175 and have a bit of a tummy and had to go with the xlarge but it's great!

exceeds expectations great quality
I have been wanting one of these coats for awhile. This is a great transitional coat between seasons especially for colder climates where you can layer up underneath. I just wore it for the first time outside - which i'm often without a car (NYC) March - it's 27 degrees with 30 MPH winds - I had only a light shirt underneath and was perfectly cozy and warm (2 miles). The quality of the coat is very very good and it's extremely soft on the outside it's also convenient to have pockets with zippers to ensure phone or other items are stored securely. I'm sure this coat will be well utilized for spring, fall and partial winter months - i have come to expect great high quality with Amazon brand products that is typically lower cost and better quality than competitors. You won't be disappointed 🌃

Too small, Good color and length
Lightweight, nice color, good length, pocket zippers fragile. I really liked everything about this jacket until I zipped it up. I’m 5’5” I weigh 160 and it fit perfectly snug with a thin T-T-shirt. There’s no way to layer with a large so I will have to get an extra large so I can wear a sweater or a sweatshirt.. the zipper did seem a little fragile like the pocket zippers but for the price I think it will be a pretty good jacket.

This coat is lovely! It’s slighted fitted which is great to show off curves. I bought my Amazon recommended size which is medium and I was worried that bulky sweaters wouldn’t fit underneath. I was wrong. However, as a sensible D cup the chest seems a bit tight. So if you’re bustier think about sizing up. I’m 5’5” and weigh 140lbs with a 34D. For a trial run I wore a shirt under a North Face Denali and was surprised that it fit without the arms feeling too tight. But again, if you’re bigger chested you might feel a bit smothered on top unless you’re planning on wearing a thinner sweater like a basic turtleneck. My plan isn’t to actually layer a Denali beneath this jacket I just like knowing I can. The jacket seems like it’ll keep you warm even with minimal layers. PHOTO: Please note that the brown is a bit darker and truer to the listed photo. Mine looks a bit light a lighter copper-color solely due to the lighting at the time. Now, I love love love packable clothes but I cannot fit this into the bag it came with for the life of me! I saw another review say the same thing and didn’t believe it. Upon receiving the jacket it had the packing bag tied to the jacket rather than the jacket coming packed inside. And I’ve never been able to pack it inside the bag. Not once! Clearly from the photo I know how to stuff and pack other clothes into their respective bags. Yet, this bag is honestly too small which is a shame because now I’ll have to look for another drawstring bag to store it in. So what I’m really saying is: IF YOU CAN FIT THIS JACKET into the bag it came with you’re a magician. Or a wizard of some sorts.

found a bag this can stuff into...
downgrading below review to 4 stars. why?: 1. i have worn one coat only a few times, and the zipper is totally messed up. i actually noticed this soon after purchasing but was like 'i'll deal with it, after a few tries i can get it to work.' but .... now it's not working at all. i dont think the other two colors i bought have this problem but i haven't worn them much yet. i suppose they had to put in a lightweight zipper but i wish it worked bc now i have to throw away a pretty new coat. 2. this coat i'm wearing, the green one, has already ripped. the fabric is thin. perhaps this comes with the territory of being ultralight? but my other ultralight jackets by 32 degrees i wear all the time have not ripped. 3. i wrote below how you need to buy a separate bag to pack this in, and i did buy it. unfortunalty i forget to bring it, though i will try attaching it to my other amazon coat (I have this coat in 3 colors). but upon thinking about it, it is really annoying that they just didn't design the coat's bag correctly in the first place, making it much bigger. no one should have to buy a separate bag. i was at the museum of natural history the other day and was so annoyed i could NOT pack the coat into amazon's attached bag (i forgot to bring the separate bag i bought, and yes i should have replaced amazon's bag with mine. but the fact that i am tasked with having to buy a separate bag and replacing amazon's bag with my new one is annoying. i do not have this problem with other brands. i wouldn't buy this again unless they fix the other issues. coat is great, wish it came in prettier colors. i wear a L in sweatpants, dresses, and usually in coats in general i size up to an XL. first i got this in a L and thought it was a bit snug...i looked a bit like a stuffed sausage. then i got it in an XL and it really made me look bigger/bulkier. went back to a L and am satisfied. yes i look a bit like a stuffed sausage but id prefer that than to looking larger. even with the L, i can wear a fleece underneath and still zip it up. cons- -i am almost 5'8. i wish this were about 2-3" longer - it doesnt cover the part of my thighs that i'm not happy with, i have to wear a long t shirt. -the sack it comes with - this coat does not stuff into it. i just got a 32 degree brand jacket and that easily stuffs into the bag it comes with, in several seconds flat. this? no way. fo this coat, i had to buy "Granite Gear AirBags Stuff Sack Set - 2 7L" - i just guessed on the 7 liter size and wham, was lucky, this coat stuffed right into that. wish this came with a bigger stuff sack so i didn't have to buy expensive stuff sacks on my own. -i'm not a fan of the colors. i wish it came in tan, a pink, and a prettier shade of blue. i was kind of shocked they don't have a basic tan color. i can see how people get addicted to these - i am keeping the black, the green, and the red, but i'm not in love with the red, i wish it were more of a cherry red. -i wish this were just a tad more shapely, with a more defined waist and a bit of a flair, but that's just me, i'm super feminine. this isn't bad, it's certainly better than how uniqlo looked on me. i have curves. pros -really is lightweight, and in mid 30 degree weather in NYC, i wore a fleece under this, and was warm enough! this has got me obsessed with the idea of travling light. also when you wear it you can feel the lightweightness of it it's like a freeing feeling. i have a bigger, much heavier down coat and this isn't QUITE as warm as that, so i will save that one, but this definitely makes me feel light and free while still keeping me warm. -pockets are nice, i put my hands in them and they stay warm -portability. again, i was annoyed i had to buy a separate stuff sack for this, but i can see how, when i travel from nyc to florida, it will be really, really nice to be able to stuff this in a little bag rather than schlep it around. so i am keeping these, but i also am going to try the 32 degree brand bc they have longer coats, and one in tan. i'll probably end up keeping ALL of them. just in love.

My wife lives it
Usually when I bought clothing for my wife, invariably it would be returned due to one reason or other. I was pleasantly surprised that she loved this one. The puffer jacket is medium length, light weight and keep her warm which are all what she was looking for. She also liked the color and size of the jacket which was a bonus to me. In other words, she didn’t have any negatives to say about it. Highly recommended
