Carb worked great

The quality of the product was amazing, especially given its low price. It fit perfectly on my 8HP snowblower with a Tecumseh HMSK-80 engine. Took just minutes to remove the old one and replace it with this one. It started with the first pull and has functioned flawlessly since then. The only time I had trouble was recently when the snowblower failed to start, but I am pretty sure because some water got into the gas tank. After I drained the gas from the gas tank and the carburetor and replaced it with fresh gas, it once again started on the first pull. I have no hesitation in recommending this product and I am thinking of ordering another one just to have a backup since it is so economically priced.

Installed this on a 20 yr old MTD snowblower that was running really rough. Pretty straightforward install, and after the install the snowblower now regularly starts on the first pull. Highly recommended.

I bought this Carburetor Kit for my 24 year old Ariens ST824 snow blower; it was running rough. I chose this kit as it included a new spark plug, as I have with other kits in the past. The day before the January 2022 Blizzard I installed this kit including the spark plug and the engine started with a couple of backfires but seemed to run okay. This was not the case when trying to clean up after the blizzard; the engine would run and then stall and backfire once a load was placed on it. Being knee deep in snow, I replaced the 'new' spark plug (even though it was properly gapped) with the 24 year old one and the engine ran like a champ. I eventually replaced that old spark plug with the factory recommended replacement (Champion RJ19LM) and it now runs like new! Long story short: don't buy this kit because it appears to have a 'free' spark plug included. All in all these carburetor kits in general are great as they bring new life to old engines at low cost.

Saved my bacon. We haven't got much snow in the Northeast the past few years. Nothing worth dragging the blower out for. They're calling for 24" tomorrow. Old gass was yellow and separated. Old carb was toast. Prime next day showed up with this. Turned my expensive Ariens lawn ornament into a purring kitten. Seemed better quality than the factory carb. Spark plug was the right size too. Easy to install, started right up and no leaks. Didn’t use any of the extra goodies that came with except for the gasket. This is a non adjustable carburetor, install and go. Spare goodies to have on hand if something breaks. Hope the snowblower gets us through this winter and beyond. Very happy, so far……

We were having issues with our snowblower and it turned out that not only did we need a replacement part, the part that was fitted was incorrect. Order received quickly as described and in good condition. Easy to install, parts seem to be of good quality and it made so much of a difference it’s like we bought a brand new machine. Very happy!

No adjustment necessary after installing on my snow blower. How can I justify cleaning an old carb when this new replacement is so reasonable.
