Rough Country 12,000LB PRO Series Electric Winch | Synthetic Rope - PRO12000S, Black

I was skeptical but I have this on a chevy 2500HD on a bumper replacement ranch hand and it's a beast. This is an emergency use item only for me, not mudding type stuff. The last two times I have used it to tie off to a tree and pull my truck and a full dump trailer that I got stuck trying to get up a hill where I couldn't get started as the ground was slick. It pulled me up to a dry spot where I could then crawl forward with a single line pull. Very happy with it and the synthetic rope is a life saver. I have a Pro-LInk on it and took off the factory hook but other than that it's a great winch.

Install was not bad, and the winch works great.

I was shopping for a winch for my Wrangler. I narrowed it down between this one and a different brand that was 9500lb. They were the same price so I went with this model because it's 12,000lbs. I have other Rough Country products and have never been disappointed. This is a quality winch. Install was easy and it's more than powerful enough for my needs. There are other models out there that cost a ton more but this was the perfect balance between cost and efficiency for me. Only negative is it doesn't come with a wireless remote. Not a huge deal for me as I've been just fine without one over the years. In many applications, you're better off removing the bumper and installing this on the bumper and reinstalling them as a unit. I recommended this winch 100%

Great winch for the money. Works as advertised, no parts missing. Got this on sale and then bought product insurance for a fail safe investment. So far so good! Rough Country makes great products at reasonable prices.

Easy to install but will need help

This wench is just what I was looking for… fits great and works well!

Was so excited on mounting my new winch on my bronco but instead I come home to a beat up repackaged box which by itself wouldn't have been bad considering how heavy it is. However once I opened the box and noticed this winch is used scrathed up fairlead, missing hook, and mud/dirt on the winch and cables is just completely unacceptable. Especially coming from the manufacturer and not a resaler. This thing is going back and rough country has lost a long time customer.

Amazing at how well this winch just kept on going and still is today, 2 years later. I put this thing thru he'll and back and it didnt die. Highly recommend it! Note, you will have to change out the winch line - put a bigger synthetic line on it as the line does snap and its only 3/8.

The first cable snapped but roughcountry sent me a new one for free. This winch is good for the price

Great value for this unit. The remote is a wired only, but has a nice sturdy handle and larger button. The installation was easy. the first initial use was on a loaded one ton flatbed pick up. the winch worked great.
