It looks like plastic beads. Who knows if its really authentic amber?

I read that if it smells like pine when you stick it with a hot needle, it's probably legit amber. They don't feel like plastic beads and they are attractive. I lost the first one I bought and replaced it. I wear it all the time.

So what all is it suppose to help?

I was told that the amber would help take away aches and pains caused by general walking, movements, little things. I wore it for 6 weeks straight, did nothing for me. If you want to try it yourself, go to your local craft store, buy maybe 25 beads (enough to go around your wrist) along with some elastic, put it together, and wear it. Should cost a whole lot less. For me, it was wasted money. Good Luck
