Water Pump DC 12V 100W Small & Powerful Submersible 1100GPH Max lift 7m for Pond

Decent little pump, I am using it to aerate a catfish pond. It runs 10-14 hours per day. After 4 months the impeller shaft seized up and I had to replace it.I would say this is a light, intermittent duty, pump. It is not a full time run for years pump at all.

I used this for a back yard fountain with about a 4 foot lift. It had enough power, but didn't last very long. I've tried several DC pumps and none lasted more than a month or two, so I broke down and installed an 110 volt AC line with a new pump. So far, so good. 12 volt might not be strong enough for my use, where it runs for 12+ hours a day.

So far so good. it has been submersed (just the impeller section) in my DIY fountain basin for many months now. Powers up w/o issue. It does not run everyday, on avg probably 52x per year, but when I run the fountain it usually runs 1-2hrs, on party days it will run 8+ hrs.

Great little pump. Great value. Please note, however, that you need a screen if the water being pumped has debris in it. This little guy can and will suck up a rock big enough to jam the motor and kill it.

This pump ran prefect for 2 months then started slowing down then finally seized up. It was placed inside a screened filter system so there were no objects other than water running thru it. It was running 27-7 for a fish pond. I had high hopes for it since my pond was completely solar. Think I'll go with a 110V ac pump and an inverter.

Do not have confidence it will last long.
