Czech Glass Nail File with Case in Pastel Green Violet

Great nail file, works a treat, nice case, can't fault it. If you haven't yet switched to glass, this is a good one to get.

This file is perfect for more than just nails. It's an all round versatile tool that easily handles nail care and promotes healthy nail & skin growth. NOBODY TALKS ABOUT THE SKIN BUT... It removes overgrown hard calloused skin around the free edge and along the sides of your nails & leaves it feeling like normal, smooth, supple skin. It's not a permanent fix, as callouses continue forming over time, but it's no issue to keep doing a little here & there. It's natural for callouses to form, as we use our hands a lot, but it's rarely mentioned compared to hard skin on your feet. Manual workers, and gardeners, may get callouses on their palms. Google callouses beside nails if you don't believe me... I did plenty of research before investing in this file, as I haven't been 100% happy with emery boards for a long while, even though I've used them all my life! I'm really glad I took the plunge now. It glides across the ends of your nails, with very little pressure, to file them back. It is also very easy to manipulate whether you are filing straight or curves. Straight edges that you just can't achieve with emery boards will now be perfect, with a bit of control. Held at 45° to the free edge, with a slight downward motion, it also seals the end of your nails to prevent them feeling sharp and catching on things. Doing it makes them less prone to peeling, breaking &water damage also. If you are very gentle, you can lightly glide it over the nails to remove visible stuck on cuticle. I am carefully NOT recommending that you file the Eponychium or underneath it! Look up parts if the nail if you aren't sure what that is. It removes hang nails with ease. I glide it against the direction of growth to get a really smooth finish. I have rinsed it and that easily removes nail filings and restores the "gritty" surface again. The pointy end is great for a little tweak in awkward to reach places and you can use it to clean your nails also, just be careful. I can't really comment on it's longevity yet, as I've only had it a short time, but I can imagine it lasting well, given it's performance so far. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone. I'm very, very pleased with it so far.

Excellent file. It feels like it's a fine grit, but it cuts away at the nail VERY quickly. Just go slow otherwise you'll file half your nail off in a few swipes. It's glass so I'm guessing I'll need to be careful and not drop it, it does feel semi delicate. Case is plasticity cheap and rubbish. Wish it was a bit nicer and a bit more robust. But I guess it does the job of protecting the file.

Absolutely fabulous and makes filing your nails so easy with no rough edges and no having to make sure always filing in the same direction. So impressed, bought them as presents for friends who now wouldn't use any other nail file either

Wow! I'd never heard of Czech glass nail files before. I was searching for an enamel one when this one popped up on my search. I then googled "Czech glass nail files," and read all about them and found several websites with dozens of glowing reports, with not one complaint! So I took the bull by the horns and came back to Amazon and ordered this one - tbh, it was hard to choose which colour, maybe I'll buy one of each eventually, one for each room! This glass nail file makes filing fingernails an absolute doddle - it just glides so smoothly, you only need one swipe, not several like a normal emery board or metal file. Then all you have to do is hold it under a running tap for a few seconds, leave it on the side to air dry, and voilà! It's good to go again, or store it back in its lovely hard case. My sister has very hard big toenails that normally the podiatrist has to tackle, but I sent her a glass file and she said it's brilliant and easy to do herself now. I definitely recommend you buy one. It won't disappoint. (And while I'm here, let me also recommend the Czech glass foot file. Also much easier and better than a pumice stone.)

Wow. I mean wow. I wasn't sure about this file but it proved me wrong. It filed my natural nails effortlessly and did break them. I have thin nails and this was gentle yet effective, very fine grain, my nails were smooth in a couple of goes. I imagine someone with thicker nails will take a but longer, but I see this nail file will work for all types of nails, natural and synthetic.

This is not as good as described. I have other crystal nail files that easily shape my natural nails. I had to 'saw'at my nails with this. It also doesn't feel very robust. I only got it to have as an emergency nail file at work. I'll keep an emery board in my bag instead. Returned

J'ai mis du temps avant de me décider à acheter une lime en verre de bonne qualité et je ne regrette pas. Le grain est taillé dans le verre, ce n'est pas un revêtement donc elle va durer dans le temps. La sensation est particulière, très douce, il faut mettre peu de pression, l'ongle reste immobile pendant le limage, contrairement aux autre lime (papier, métal, verre de maivaise qualité). Pas besoin de repasser sur chaque ongles pour relimer la petite "jupe" qui se forme habituellement : il n'y en a pas. L'ongle est parfaitement limé du premier coup, je suis impressionnée ! Le petit boîtier est très pratique et se referme bien, il a l'air de qualité (le modèle le plus récent sur les photos du produit)

Very late to the review. Bought this nail file approximately two years ago, works really well, leaves my nails smoother than other files, is aesthetically pleasing and it still works perfectly fine after all this time. I’m really happy with it.

Ich habe diese Glasnagelfeile für meine Frau gekauft und sie ist wirklich sehr zufrieden damit. Die Feile sieht schön aus, liegt angenehm in der Hand und fühlt sich hochwertig an. Besonders praktisch ist das Etui, dadurch kann man die Feile sicher aufbewahren oder mitnehmen. Die Nägel lassen sich sauber und schonend feilen, ohne zu stark zu splittern. Positiv: * hochwertige Verarbeitung * angenehme Anwendung * schönes Design * praktisches Etui * ideal für Zuhause und unterwegs Ein kleiner Nachteil: Glas ist natürlich empfindlicher als Metall, deshalb sollte man vorsichtig damit umgehen. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne und praktische Nagelfeile, die ich gerne weiterempfehle.
