Piece of Cake: Easy Crossword Puzzle Book: Over 350 Crosswords (Brain Busters Puzzle Collection)

Great, compact and just the right difficulty for me. I have a masters degree in education yet find the New York Times crossword puzzles too difficult. Other ones are just plain silly. This is great because I’m able to do a lot of it easily, yet there are some challenges. Just write for relaxing and keeping me off of Facebook!

Love this super easy book . Spiral is perfect for lying in bed as it stays flat . Lots of 4 letter answers keep recall skills sharp without stressing .

Most paperback puzzle books are closely bound and can be hard to keep open but this spiral bound book is a pleasure to work on. I was expecting an assortment of easy to difficult puzzles in such a large book but these are all so easy they are almost completed with just a few longer words and fill in 3 letter words. Good for teaching English as second language students , maybe but kind of easy for the typical puzzler, even is we aren't up to the New York Times issues. Still, I am having fun with it.

It is indeed at the easy level...reasonably so. Good for keeping the mind stimulated without any frustration from being too difficult. The size is compact... so it is easy to take with me without taking up a lot of space.

Love this crossword book. I have bought other crossword books that said easy and they were not and it made me feel really stupid! Ha ha this one is really good easy but not too easy. Really glad I found a good one.

This crossword puzzle book is not overly appealing to me. It’s not 8.5x11 but is a small size. As a result of the small size, the crosswords grids are smaller as well to fit everything on a page. As a result, there are lots and lots of three and four letter word answers as larger words don’t fit as easily due to the smaller grid. I think a fourth grader could almost complete these. If you are looking for something super duper easy for any reason, this book will do the trick, though. I had purchased this book by mistake as I thought it was part of the “Easy as Pie” crossword series which I love. That series is just challenging enough, 8:5 x 11 so the grids are bigger and so you have longer words and multiple word answers as a result which makes it more challenging and fun - at least to me. The book I am reviewing is not fun to me as it’s just waaaaaay too easy with way too many short words. Even though the Easy as Pie series is also labeled as easy, it is nowhere near as easy as this Piece of Cake crossword book so at least for me, I prefer to be a bit more challenged when I just need a distraction. It just depends on what you are looking for. I also prefer the 8.5x11 format as well with the Easy as Pie series.

This book of crossword puzzles is great fun. Even though the puzzles are very, it’s still a brain exercise with a feeling of accomplishment.

Having a spiral book is so nice. Generally I'm not good at crosswords BUT I can do this one 😲

So far I really like this puzzle book. First of all it is easy. For me this is a good thing. Its suppose to be fun some easy puzzle I find them difficult at time. I get annoyed and stop playing. This one I get most of the words. Maybe my age has made me slower. This book is fun for me.

With having arthritis in my hands I have struggled with the regular bound puzzle books because the pages of the previous or next puzzle would always be banging onto my hand. I tried other spiral bound books but they all had the clues on one page and the puzzle on the corresponding page so I had to flip back and forth between filling in the puzzle. BUT this spiral bound book has the clues and the puzzle on the same page! Exactly what I need to enjoy doing my crossword puzzles.

The book was delivered fine but once we started the crosswords, quickly realised it’s written by someone in the US and so uses a lot of US words that someone in the UK may not be familiar with. Still able to do some of the crosswords but wouldn’t buy again or recommend.
