After my £60 ikea chair of 7 years started hurting my arse, I felt like it was time for a new chair. The chairs in my works London office are amazing but £1000, so was looking for something cheaper but similar. Ordered Friday. Arrived Saturday. Assembled Monday morning - 25mins from opening the box to it being fully built. Easy to build - use a drill / driver / 5mm hex bit to make your life easier. I spent a lot of time reviewing chair options (spreadsheet and all). This seemed like good value and a mid priced range. £170 is a great price for this chair, especially as I use it full time. It’s comfy, highly adjustable and well built. Arm rests are great. Wasn’t bothered about the headrest and can’t see myself using it so may take it off. Small mark on the silver bit on the back of the chair, but doesn’t bother me. Was quite unsure about a mesh seat as I’ve never used one like that, took a chance, and it’s great, very supportive and comfy. Only hesitation - unsure on the wheels/castors. Seem to snag on my laminate, so may buy others from Amazon and replace. Great chair, well done 10/10 so far

(NEW) UPDATE: So I've had this chair for a while now and I've found it really is better than every single other chair at this price point - I know this because I have had friends ask me for a good priced chair around the same I paid and well... It doesn't get any better than this one at all. I'm changing this to 5 STARS! The company is making good strides into providing the best customer service possible, so even if you do run into an issue you can just email the company and they'll take care of everything for you. I think this is going to be my "go-to" company for buying chairs from now on, easily. Their customer service and the actual chair itself is such high quality, you won't find anything like it for the price charged. Thanks :) (OLD) ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've got carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve issues in my arm/wrist because of my constant gaming and university work. I needed a chair to be comfortable in and this is as close as it gets without spending thousands of pounds on a Herman Miller or Steelcase and let's face it, no chair is worth thousands of pounds. Positives: - Great breathable mesh on BOTH the back and bottom, just like the Aeron chair (which I've replaced with this). - Comes with a great headrest! Some companies would charge a lot of money for this. - Very adjustable, not only the fully moveable armpads and height, but also the backrest and headrest. - Comes with gloves! What a thoughtful thing, keeping our hands clean during assembly. Brilliant job guys! :) - Small company, so they offer a lot of support and give you a direct email to contact them if you have questions. - Very easy to set up. Don't forget to use the washers when screwing. Negatives: - Armrests are still too hard and made out of the standard plastic they all use, only slightly softer. Pretty big letdown for such a nice chair. If they had good soft leather armpads (like the Aeron) it would instantly make this chair #1 on Amazon. - They use quite a lot of plastic in packaging which I'm not a fan of. If they move towards replacing the plastic with paper/card, I would feel much better about supporting this company. Save the environment and you'll have me as a customer for life. This is still the first day I have for owning this. I ran into an issue where I couldn't figure out how to lock the backrest again, but all you gotta do is push the height-lever in or out. Worked it out pretty quick but it should be listed in the instructions instead. I might look at this review again and change it, if the chair breaks quickly or has further issues. I'll let you guys posted every few months on the chair so keep checking back on this review. I'm giving this a 4 out of 5. High priced, good value, good comfort but missing some key things. This feels like a great chair, and fora heavier and taller person like myself I feel comfortable sitting on it. It's adjustable in so many directions which is great for getting the chair to be how you want it based on your needs. However, I'm going to return it for one important reason. The backrest does not till forward enough for me. I'm not some ultra-specific user that needs a chair that bends me 45 degree angles forwards or anything like that. I just want the backrest to come forward a little more as I enjoy the upper back support, whereas sitting upright I can only feel the lumbar support (which is great). The mesh is a nice feeling too, very breathable. Chair is also extremely easy to build, the gloves for building the chair is a nice touch. If you're like me and want a seat that supports you all the way up the back and not just at the bottom, I would not get this seat. I gambled and got this on a whim, having come from more of a "gamer" style Secret Labs chair. And it feels like a great chair but having to leave so far back to get that support just isn't practical, my head ends up tilted forward too much. This gets uncomfortable quickly, and I already have to spend so much time on my seat.

This is a very sturdy chair, very comfortable to sit on it has a mesh seat and back so you don't slide down the seat whilst your working (unlike other chairs). My back is well supported. They supply decent tools to assemble the chair as well, which made it much easier to put together

Bought this chair after suffering from back pain mainly due to my job as my role is primarily computer based. I had done a substantial amount of research as to which chair was good and value for money and this one seemed to be on top. The chair was extremely easy to set up and once done, I could confirm it was extremely comfortable. Within a few weeks of using this, my back pain had gotten substantially better. Coincidence? Probably not! I did also get a stand / sit desk which I use standing up for short bursts during the day which I also think has helped with the back problems. This chair is extremely comfortable and would highly recommend it especially for the price.

I’m not bothered in general with reviews, but need to write about this one! Soooo, I decorate cookies, work long hours and sit in a chair many hours per day... After 3 years of using a very humble office chair, with no back support, I ended up paying therapists, chiropractors, you name it- KCR... I thought my problem was my lower back, I couldn’t even walk to do my grocery shopping cause I felt pain all the way... I used to lean on the trolley🙈😢 So in general I could not walk for too long, in the park with my son, I couldn’t stand too long to wash dishes, etc... I started to get really worried- and not working was not an option, as I’m single- So I said I’ll change the chair and see... Did a good search, and got this one cause I liked the idea of having the lower back adjustable cushion. I’m 5’7 feet, so not too tall, and the cushion is set to the max inside, and at the maximum height, unfortunately for others (cause if they’re taller they won’t be able to set it higher) - but for me it works, so am extremely happy about that! Everytime I sit, I feel like that cushion is massaging my lower back, and keeps my spine straight, for many hours- or much straighter than my old chair.... I must have it for about 2-3 weeks, I need to say that I can happily stand and wash dishes, walk with no pain, or way less than before... 🥳🥳🥳 I’m so glad I got it, before I damaged any further my back from sitting long hours in the wrong posture... I have ordered the grey colour, suits my living room so nice, it’s literally beautiful! It’s a very heavy and sturdy chair, seems super strong and durable... Was a bit concerned when I saw the seat is made just of mesh, so will need to hope that will last... The airlift works like a charm, nice and easy... I assembled it myself, comes well packed with a nice key- really basic assembling (if I can do it, you can!🙈😂) Took me some adjustment to it, I mean time to get used to it, being so heavy and imposing, but now I’m ok, and most of all, really greatfull for getting rid of that silly back pain, till the point it was parallyzing and had to lie down! So for anybody working from home, and not only,(thus can be used in an office too) take care of your back posture as in time you’ll spend more money on therapies than on a good chair! Well worth the money!!!

(Edit - After just one days' use of this chair I decided to buy a different chair from another manufacturer. The chair is okay for short periods but the discomfort over longer use is too much) The £200 bracket for office/gaming chairs is no longer classed as expensive. Not when you can easily pay 3 to 4 times that for the same functionality. While it does offer lots of features I have to ask; Are they really useful? The "4D" arm rests being able to go up and down and the width being variable are both good options but being able to rotate the arm pads with no option to lock them in place? Not so good. especially when you move them without meaning to. That feels more like a gimmick than useful functionality. My initial concerns were raised when I opened the box to find the components jammed in as if whomever packed it was in a rush. Then, while unpacking I noticed that one of the leg spurs was flaking paint. A lot of paint. It rubbed off like glitter. The welds on the leg spurs haven't been ground down and are really sharp. While assembling the chair I had one hell of a time trying to get the casters into the legs. I ended up having to stamp on them to get them to fit. While the chair is quite sturdy it lacks comfort for someone with a wider frame. The mesh seat offers little give and digs into the lower hips and outer thighs. The lumbar support, while variable, just doesn't go quite high enough for someone 6ft or over. The "waterfall" seat front relieves the pressure on the back of the thigh but the back of the seat leans back slightly even locked in the upright position. Both combine to give me the feeling that I'm about to slide off the seat. So much so that I have tied paracord to one arm rest, around the back, to the other arm rest so that the chair back stays upright. As for the headrest, I binned it. I've read many reviews that complain about it and I don't particularly like headrests in general. The armrest padding, while quit firm is reasonably comfortable. I'd class this chair as an interim chair. Use until your piggy bank is full enough to afford something better. If it lasts more than two years I'll be amazed. It's almost a good chair. It 'just' misses the mark on too many things for me to be happy with it.

It would be a perfect chair and I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't for just one thing: it was a bit too low for me, even at the max height setting. I am 170 cm tall and have a fairly short legs (29"), and my desk is 75 cm high. But I loved every other aspect of the chair so much, that I decided to improve the a/m drawback by a simple DIY trick: I inserted a 1" (25mm) plank of wood (a decking board) between the titling mechanism and the actual seat making the chair (the seat position) 25mm higher. I had to buy (on Amazon) longer bolts for that, but it wasn't a big problem. It is much better now, but I still wouldn't mind it being another 1 cm taller. Apart from that, it is a perfect chair. It has a several must have features: * adjustable lumbar support. If it is too hard for you (though it is padded) you can insert a piece of foam between the provided lumbar support pad and the mesh fabric of the back rest (as I did - it will be practically invisible). The adjustment range is quite sufficient (up/down, back/front). * The headrest is very adjustable and very well anatomically-shaped. It makes a big difference and I use it often. * The adjustable arm rests are very good - setting the height right (level with the desk) prevents many problems associated with a prolonged use of a mouse. They move up/down, front/back and at an angle. The angle position can easily be changed by accident (when pulling the chair), but it is equally easy to correct it when it happens. The plastic of the armrests is not cushioned, but it is soft enough to be comfortable (it is not hard). * The back rest can be adjusted easily to several pre-set positions, and it being wider at the top supports your shoulders very well. The chair has a "premium" and stylish look and is very well made. It doesn't look too big even in a small study. In other words - a perfect and reasonably priced chair, but next time please make it a bit taller...

Aucun regret la chaise et facile à monter, solide, elle soutient bien les lombaires et la nuque, je peux écrire au roman pendant plusieurs heures sans avoir mal au cou, aux épaules, ou au dos contrairement à ma chaise précédente. J'ai fait tomber du chocolat qui a fondu sur le siège et avec une éponge et un peu d'eau c'est parti. À peu près tout est réglable que ça soit l'inclinaison pour la nuque, la hauteur, les accoudoirs sont réglables en hauteur aussi il pivote également selon l'orientation des bras.

Chaise de bureau agréable avec une maille solide. Montage pas trop complexe J'ai changé le cylindre central par un plus grand car je mesure 1m85+. Je reste de longues journées dessus et elle est vraiment confortable

Fauteuil léger, le mesh le rend respirant, plus aucun mal de dos, maintien des lombaires, nuque, dos parfait, tout ajustable, un must ! Accoudoirs qu'on peut descendre et monter, incliner plus à l'intérieur ou extérieurs pour le confort des coudes. On peut également "bloquer" le dossier dans 3 positions différentes, un bonheur pour se reposer un petit peu ! Qualité, confort et prix raisonnable !! Service client impeccable, au-delà de toutes expectations, j'ai reçu mon fauteuil avec une assise un peu plus lâche que celle de mon chéri (alors que je suis un poids plus élevé en plus) J'ai pu les contacter très facilement, ils ont pu me renvoyer une assise gratuitement sans me demander de retour de la mienne (qui aurait été compliquée), j'ai été suivie par mail tout du long, impeccable et très aimable, merci pour leur accompagnement et suivi pour résoudre mon problème, je recommande fortement ! Aucun soucis à se faire là-dessus, bien mieux de tous les fauteuils gaming, en poids léger comme fort, fiable, solide, adaptable. Et un service client aux petits soins, là pour nous aider, nous accompagner et régler nos problèmes même dans les petits détails, hyper efficace !

I bought this chair almost two months ago, and in this review I will share my experience. THE SEARCH Since last few months I was working from home, I decided that I will get myself an ergonomic chair, which will make my work more enjoyable and also healthier. When I started my search, I gave myself some ideas, and restrictions what I want, and what I don’t want. Since I didn’t want that my home/room looks like an office, I was searching for more "airy/lightweight" ergonomic chair which doesn’t "takes" to much space and makes the space busy. That decision made my search easier, because that way I excluded 80% of all chairs in the market. Usually those were standard "black" ergonomic chairs with full padding on seat and back, which is usually used in offices/or in private business. Same goes for the leather chairs, I excluded them as well. So I was searching for the chairs with mesh padding. At the end I found some chairs which I liked, so I started reading reviews, and exploring details about them. At the end I decided that I will go with SIHOO chair, because it had some good reviews, and it also looked like a good deal for a reasonable price. THE BEGINNING I ordered 2 chairs, option: silver color (only difference between the black and silver option is the mesh padding color), one for me and one for my brother. They arrived 4 days later. First chair arrived without any damages. However second chair arrived with two damaged armrests (black plastic was broken on both of armrests.) Right away I contacted Amazon.de seller about this issue. I did not wait too long for the reply, they quickly responded that they will take care of this issue, and send me the replacement armrests. So they send the armrests with the tracking number 3 days later. The only issue that I had with this is that I took quite some time for them to arrive. More precisely I waited more than two weeks for them. But at least they arrived unbroken. REVIEW Assemble of chair was very easy, it took me maybe 10-15 minutes to fully assemble the chair. The instructions are very clear, and it comes with all of tools you nee.. Now more details about the chair itself. The main substructure is made of metal steel, and it is partly covered with plastic. Subbase seats on 5 rolling wheels. They are rolling quite easy, without any problems, but not too much that it will make chair unstable or shaky. So the chair is very stable and easy to maneuver. The padding on the seat and the backrest is made of some special material which looks like a mesh. This is very important characteristic which I was looking when I started my search, because chair should not leave any stains, and it will enable you to breathe, without making "hotspots". Especially during the summer when it is very hot and you are sweating more. Regarding options/mechanics there are lots of options, all of them you can easily adjust below your seat. You can align the backrest hover ever you want and lock that position. Or you can choose not to lock it, so it moves when you push your back. But for my taste its better when it’s locked because its more comfortable and your back feel more supported. On the backside lower part of the backrest you can adjust the shape with a special counter point for the lower back, depending how much support you need for low back. The height of the chair can also be easily adjusted, like standard chairs. Beside that you have armrest, where you can adjustable the height and inner angle. Headrest can also be adjusted, you can change the height and the angle inside, so that it makes more pressure/support on your neck/head. So all in all, lots of options. But the main questions is it comfortable to seat? And my answer is YES! This chair is very comfortable and enjoyable to seat in. During my work I do not feel any fatigue or experiencing discomfort while seating for a longer period of time. It’s very sturdy, but at the same time very flexible and soft. I would go so far, and even say that that this chair is even more comfortable than the professional chair which I use in the office, and it cost 5 times more! CONCLUSION Although I had some issue with broken armrests and waiting for the replacement parts for the long time, this will not stop me from recommending this chair. You will not regret it if you buy it. It is a quality chair which will make your seating more enjoyable and healthier, and also makes you living space that much cooler/modern. So 2 big thumbs up from me!
