Excellent device to accurately measure body fat instead of replying on the algorithm on my Garmin scales, which calculate based on Jo average, which is of no help when you carry a fair bit of muscle. Garmin scales had me at 26% fat, but I am actually 13% fat

When I first saw it, it looked enormous. In fact it is very handy and easy to use. Lasts for much longer than any other plastic calipers I have tried.

The pointer lifts off the plate with the measurements on, it needs a strip of plastic bridging across the plate to keep the pointer down. this would then make it a very good, accurate item.

The measurement software is a web site - shame it’s not an app. Doesn’t keep a history.

Very good product considering the price. Also current studies indicate that this type of caliper is a good alternative for more expensive calipers. Software is web based on product site and includes several different formulas for fat estimation.

Good quality and quick delivery

Seems quite flimsy but for the price cant really complain. The “app” is a bit misleading as its just a QR code to a webpage and another QR code that shows you how to use them for one of the more useless methods

For almost £20 this flimsy piece of plastic with a spring is a bit of a rip-off. The measurements (4 of them) can only be taken by someone else, so if you are solo (like me) it is completely useless and you simply cannot use the online calculator to work out the %s. I did find elsewhere an online calculator for 3 body sites that I could see and measure myself so I can actually use the product, but not as intended and again, it is WAY overpriced for what you get.

Da ich Bodybuilding mache messe ich schon jahrelang meine Hautfalten mit diesen normalen Calipern aus Plastik. Ich wollte mir mal etwas ordentliches gönnen habe aber nichts besseres als diesen hier gefunden aber ich muss sagen es hat sich gelohnt! Der Caliper zeigt exakt die gleichen Werte an wie die kleinen, jedoch ist die Anzeige mehr als doppelt so groß so dass sich die Genauigkeit beim Ablesen verdoppelt! Jetzt kann ich auch 6,5mm sehen. Zudem sorgt die Feder dafür dass der Caliper fest hält so dass man ganz in Ruhe ablesen kann ohne dass man darauf achten muss dass man weiterhin den richtigen Druck hält. Die Größe ist zunächst etwas unhandlich aber mit der Zeit hat man auch raus wie man ihn in beiden Händen halten und gleichzeitig ablesen kann. Qualitativ macht das Teil auch einen guten Eindruck: Nichts wackelt oder kommt mir vor als ob es bald abbrechen könnte, das Plastik scheint recht dick und stabil. Die App nutze ich nicht. Als Fazit finde ich den Caliper schon sehr sehr teuer aber zumindest für mich hat es sich gelohnt! Das Ablesen ist dank Feder entspannter und dank der Größe auch genauer. Update nach einem Jahr: Immer noch alles wie am ersten Tag, gute Qualität!
