Really good tablet
Right well 5 stars for being a good tasting non butter tablet. Don't get why people say can't taste the butter. Of course you can't as it's not made that way. So to have a tablet that isn't purposely made with just butter it's a good taste. A good All rounder.

This is not proper Scottish tablet.
Last time I bought this, it was excellent. This time, not. They’ve added fondant to original recipe. Such a disappointment. Scottish tablet should only be made with milk, butter and sugar. You can use condensed milk for extra sweetness. But never fondant. It disrupts the taste and texture. Regretfully I’m throwing this lot out.

Tastes like a chemical cleaner
I am sorry but this was awful. I love butter tablet and was looking forward to trying this one (I have tried virtually every other one on Amazon!) but it tasted like it had been made with some kind of kitchen/bathroom cleaner, vile. I wnet and washed my hands again after trying it the first time, thinking I still had cleaning spray on from cleaning the kitchen but no....it was not me, it was the tablet. I tried some teeny bites out of other pieces to see if it was a one off but it wasn't. Sadly that was £13.99 wasted for me.
