Has anyone else had the problem with these smelling like mold? I received mine yesterday and they smell like mold!

The product is going to have a smell to it right out of the packaging. So long as the stockings came sealed in a plastic style bag inside the actual product box. They will need to be washed prior to use. If you feel the product wasn't new or the smell doesn't go away after washing contact the company you got the pair from for further assistance.

How do these thigh high stockings stay up on your thigh?

This particular pair of stockings comes with a grip top band, which are silicone dots spaced over the surface of the top band to grip the skin. Please ensure you measure for correct size for you, as this can be the biggest issue for them not staying up. You can of course use an body adhesive, we recommend this item: B0015DA0E2.

What does Grip-top mean?

Thank you for your question. Grip top is in reference to the type of hold the thigh piece has. There are more than one type with the various styles of SIGVARIS product. With the Sheer and Soft Opaque styles they have a lace top band that has essentially strips around the band. This style comes with a silicone dot band style.
