It’s solidly in the frame, to the point where my husband accidentally knocked one off the table onto our tile floor. It survived without movement or cracking. I love the two matching lamps.

It looks exactly as pictured. Grey, rust color, and black iron, w/a cream shade. It's beautiful. I'm not sure it's completely neutral. As it has some rust-ish/brownish color on the slate.
