Do it yourself!
I refuse to pay whatever fee it is for the mechanics to change out my filters. These are cheap and easy to install. I hop on YouTube to guide me and get it changed out in about 5 minutes. They also do a good job of filtering, which I can tell when I switch them out and see all the gunk left on the old one. When I switch them out again, I'll update with pictures. Save yourself some money and change your filter yourself.

Easy DIY upgrade that improves air quality
The AC in our 2005 Hyundai Tucson felt stuffy, so I decided to replace the cabin air filter. When I removed the old one, it was extremely dirty, filled with dry leaves and debris. The replacement process was very easy. I was able to do it myself in about 10 minutes without any issues. After installing the new filter, the air quality improved noticeably inside the car. A simple DIY fix that made a big difference.

VERY easy installation in my 2009 Kia Rondo! Fits perfectly
This filter fit my 2009 Kia Rondo perfectly. The installation requires no tools. Look at the picture of my glove box. The round knob on the left is actually what holds that side of the glove box in place. There's another one on the right side. All one has to do is rotate the knob counterclockwise 1/4 turn, and the knob will be free. Do the same on the other side, and the glove box can now rotate downward to expose the air filter holder. The glove box door stays attached to the dash, so no hassles with it. Pull the filter holder out by the two "handles" on it. You can see this step in online videos if needed. Pop out the old filter and replace it with the new one. Make sure the flow direction arrow on the filter is pointing downward. The paper frame of the filter is easy to flex, and a little flexing helps to get the filter seated against the bottom of the filter holder. Push the filter holder back in place. Putting the knobs back that hold up the glove box door is easier than I expected. There's a wide slot in the dash instead of a single mounting hole for the knobs. One simply has to hold the door so the wide slot is opposite the hole in the glove box for the knob, then install each knob by inserting them in the glove box and turning 1/4 turn clockwise. I feel foolish for ever letting the dealership replace this filter when it's so easy to do. Check out how disgusting my old filter looked! This air filter was pretty inexpensive, and looks as good as the one it replaced. At about 1/3 the cost of a "brand name" filter, I can replace it twice as often and still be saving money. This is an easy DIY project on my Rondo. I won't rate this filter 5 stars until it's got some time in use. So far, it's looking good.

Cabin filter not easy
The filter was too big for my 2011 hyundai tuscon. I had to squish the side that went in first into the slot. The filter kept getting stucl on the right side. After squishing the frame, it finally went in. Dont know if i will buy again. Engine air filter fit nicely and was way easier to install.
