This distributor was packed well and worked perfectly right out of the box! Plug and play. Seemed to be of great quality, especially for the super affordable price!

Easy install if you understand workings. This was my second time but last one when pulled had a lot of corrosion inside and cap was bad also, this is why whole unit replaced after only 16 months

The distributor was well packed and delivered on time. It fits my 1997 CRV as described. Saved a lot compared to other retail stores prices. Recommended.

Works great with 97 crv, Auto zone people asking more than 300 for this product, i found a great deal on Amazon. Good price. And its been month this distributor working fine.

Came fully assembled, i installed it and it fired right up. Have had no problems with it. Great value for money

Caution when ordering one from Amazon warehouse deals or you may get a defective return like I did. Mine was dead on arrival so either the coil or top dead center sensor inside was likely defective. These are not new. Clearly could see it was a refurbished part. Luckily it’s a ten minute install. Took longer to return it then the install. I’ll try ordering one that is not a warehouse deal and keep my fingers crossed.I called Honda to find out if my 1998 Honda CRV possibly had a VTEC engine which this is for non VTEC and they said no. Apparently they didn’t use VTEC on the first generation and only started using i-VTEC in the second generation in 2002. I thought maybe the motor was replaced with VTEC at some point but they said the coil would be on the motor next to the distributor. Mine was inside so couldn’t be a VTEC engine. This tells me beyond reasonable doubt that Amazon is restocking returned parts without checking to see if they work or not. I’ve ordered the Spectra Premium TD97 on Amazon instead which is a new distributor not rebuild. It’s more expensive but much less than this same one is sold at the local parts store for over $300. Honda dealership wants $1,140 for the original Honda distributor. I will update once I install the Spectra brand.Update:The Soectra distributor worked immediately after installing it. Turns over right away when starting. Top dead center no signal code cleared and didn’t return. Not going to risk buying returned warehouse deals auto parts again or rebuilds. It’s worth the extra cost to buy new parts. The Spectra was made in Taiwan not China.

The media could not be loaded. Great distributor it comes with coil pack, distributor cap, & rotor. For a great price. Installed it and the little crv turned on the first try. The old distributor had failed. one of the sensors inside the distributor was not reading the correct values since a screw got loose. But with this distributor it made fixing the crv a breeze.

When I did the distributor the last time I guess I didn’t put the screw back in the rotor. May not have needed a new one but mine was old and this is working great

Delivered in the right time frame, looks identical to OEM. Easy to follow installation instructions and worked first turn of the key! (BTW the clip holding the wiring harness together won't open unless it is separated from the bracket FIRST)
