Art 101 142-Piece Wood Art Set (4 Sets)

When I opened the the box and tried to open the bottom drawer which contained the crayons it was jammed. I assume this was caused by the transfer during shipping. Now the crayons have become lodged in the drawer, damaging some of them. Forcing me to apply pressure to force open the drawer. When the drawer finally released the crayons went everywhere.I took photos of the incident and would like to send them but don't see a place to do so. Thank you.

I was lucky that unlike others the box was not broken and did not feel like it would fall apart immediately. Although I would not test it very strenuoisly. My biggest cokplaint is that the box and its ingredients have a pretty strong chemical odor. It will sit outside for at least a night or two. As far as the quality of the contents I think it is fine for the price. I think this is really a kids set. If I went to a local craft shop I think the contents would cost the same or a little more without the box. If you want better quality I would suggest you spend a liile more.

Originally purchased this set as a Christmas (2013) gift for my daughter. This purchase I am reviewing was for a gift.Most art supplies I purchase my daughter (9yo) get lost or relegated to the bottom of drawers etc. This set she has kept meticulously organized and uses it almost daily.

My daughter is very happy with this set. She loves to draw and paint and color and this was a nice set for her. No problems with the case or the drawer at all so far. Good started set for those who love to draw.

Bought this as a gift. There is a decent variaty and good quality of art supplies but to be honest, I would pay for just the box itself! It's an excellent wooden box, very beautiful. It makes the supplies feel professional. Definitely recommend!

Great except that the drawer took over 30 minutes to open as the crayons in the drawer are not taped down and shifted in shipping, the crayons were jammed horribly and a number were broken. We finally managed to get the drawer open but only after breaking a few more crayons. Overall a wonderful set and granddaughter loved it except for the disappointment of broken crayons.

1st off I didn't think the box would hold up as I was ordering it online. To my surprise it hasn't broken yet after a few weeks of use. There is a large selection supplies in the box & all nicely layed out. This was a good purchase. She's happy, I'm happy, everyone's happy.

I got this for a friend who is recovering from a serious illness. She absolutely loves it and she is passing a lot of her time making art. I read the negative reviews of the case, but the case I got was of excellent quality, especially for the price. All in all it made a great gift!
