My Hobart l800 won’t go up or down the lever is completely stuck. Won’t move at all. Will this fix the issue

This could help, sometimes the spindal goes outside the threads and it causes it to not spin anymore. If you take off the faceplate in the front of the mixer you will be able to see it. If that's not the problem it may be something with the gears inside

This part fit perfectly in the space previously occupied by the factory original. However, this replacement part is superior to the factory original because it includes a wear adjustment screw that will keep it in service much longer than the original. This part is highly recommended as a much improved replacement.
