What’s the difference between the regular Vitality and Optimal Vitality?

I think it's supposed to be that optimal is for kittens and regular is for all others. However, I find the difference to mostly to be the shape of the food itself. The optimal vitality are small pebbles and the vitality are like the standard cat food X's that you see. My cats will only eat the optimal vitality and I think it's because the pieces are smaller than the regular vitality. They are small cats with small mouths, so I think it's easier for them to chew. How many calories is this per cup?

Couldn't find per cup but its 366 calories per 100 grams or 103 calories per ounce. Of course thats by weight and not by volume. Judging by serving size on the bag (1/2 to 3/4 for a 10 lb cat) I am almost certain that 1/2 cup is equal to 200 calories so a cup would be ~400 calories. This is based on the recommendation for 10 lb indoor cats to averge 200 calories per day and outdoor cats 300 calories per day. This seems to match the serving size. So 100 calories per 1/4 cup, each 1/4 cup weighs 1 ounce. ~400 calories per cup.

A Wysong representative explained that their dry foods are manufactured in Wisconsin, supplements made at their Midland, Michigan location, and their canned foods are manufactured in the United States by Evanger's. I don't know if they have manufactures outside of USA.
