Is this medal silver with the lacquer type coating that keeps it from discoloring itself or the skin?

I have no idea. I guess only the manufacturer/supplier can answer that question. I have not noticed any discoloration...although I wear it outside on my shirt, which is preferred by me to show it. I do know that it is a strikingly beautiful medal with very clear features and message I have received many compliments on it. It serves to start meaningful conversations. IMO you can't go wrong with this Miraculous Medal.

how can some say its beautiful and others say its going to turn green?i would love the combo but not if its going to turn green. can some one recommen

Been wearing it almost a year and it looks brand new. This has sort if a pewter finish: I don’t think it will ever turn green. If it does, it will be a beautiful green medal.

I really don't know....but doubt it since this costs $10, whereas a sterling silver medal is sold by Amazon for $60.

Does it come with a lanyard? If not, do you sell one?

No this does not come with a lanyard. I purchased 2, I bought a SS chain for one and a key ring for the other. This medal is beautiful made well

Very nice

Very nice, good size. I did add a clear coat of spray paint to be it so it doesn't discolor and because I tend to be allergic to fake silver. But haven't had any problems with it. Very nice medal.
