I had been using The Ordinary's Granactive Retinoid and, though it works well, I didn't like the sticky texture which took ages to sink in. I'm so glad that I found this. It has a lovely silky texture which absorbs quickly and it smells incredible (probably the sweet orange oil)! It's vegan and not tested on animals and the ingredients are high quality and nearly all natural. I love that the main ingredient is aloe vera rather than water and that, alongside retinol (vitamin A), the serum also contains vitamin C and E and argan oil.This leaves my skin looking lovely and smooth immediately and when I wake up the next morning. Remember with retinol products you do need to be patient as it can be at least 12 weeks before you see any results and you may experience peeling and purging in that time. I had already used retinol products for many months before using this so only saw some very minor peeling around my mouth when first using this but I no longer experience this. I have noticed a reduction in fine lines and my overall skin tone and texture.I think this product is wonderful and amazing value given that it's 3x the size of The Ordinary products and will last for ages!If you found my review helpful, please click the button below. I’m 34 and wanted a product that could slow down the aging process and keep my skin youthful and glowing. I was sceptical of this product at first because for a retinol product it was comparatively lower in price compared to some luxury brands. Previously I have tried 2% retinol products and all of them caused some irritation and skin peel to begin with,therefore, I had to build tolerance slowly. However, despite the claim that this product contains 3%retinol I have had no irritation at all! Perhaps because of the high content of aloe Vera which I assume calms the skin. My acne breakouts have significantly reduced since using the product and my makeup sits nicely on my skin. However, I have not noticed any difference to my fine lines at all. That said, it is a nice product that absorbs easily and comes nicely packaged. I didn’t receive an I formation leaflet with the product and there is no info on the bottle which was disappointing as I would have liked to have read the ingredients list and confirm the retinol percentage myself.

Simply put I love this brand. I use their Jojoba oil, aloe gel, rose hip oil and hyaluronic serum. I’m all for natural skincare but not all natural brands are great. This brand is excellent.The Retinol Serum is incredibly gentle but without doubt effective. I’ve been using nightly for almost 2 months and my skin texture and tone has improved significantly. Way smoother texture and skin tone more even. It feels cool and soothing on application and not at all harsh. I have sensitive, often reactive skin and I’ve had no issues with this serum. Other retinol products I’ve had problems with but not this one.I’m also impressed by the quality of the packaging. The UV protective bottles show how seriously quality is taken. It’s well known that light damages retinol and many oils and yet other brands sell in cheap, clear bottles.As someone who loves skincare and has spent more money that I probably should have on it over the years, this brand is a real find. Love everything they make.They all work for me.Happy customer.

Please note that this product does not contain 3% Retinol. See in the question section where someone emailed the company and they themselves confirmed this.Instead it contains a “3% Retinol delivery system”, which basically could contain any amount of retinol they want, even something like 0.001%. The fact that in the email response they mentioned this supposed to be milder and for daily use implies than the amount of actual Retinol used is a degree lower than the more commonly used therapeutic doses.It’s a shame, since it’s a pretty pricey product for what you get. The ingredients are solid, and there isn’t much junk filler material, which is great... but there are many Hylauronic Acid and Vitamin C serums on Amazon for a lot cheaper than this, seems a shame to pay twice the price for an added fraction of Retinol.It’s a good product, the other ingredients within will still help the skin, and obviously all these 10,000 or so positive reviews don’t lie... it’s just a shame to see these sort of cunning “creative wording choices” that some companies use to mislead people into thinking they’re getting more for their money than they actually are.

I ordered this about half a year ago now. I’ve worn it every day and still have a fair amount left. It lasts so long, and I actually originally got it to slightly hydrate the skin as creams leave me feeling too greasy. And it works fairly okay for that (I eventually found a cream that works for me that I apply on top). However the reason I’m actually reviewing after all this time is because after a long period of quarantine when I couldn’t see my sister much, we got together and started discussing our latest skincare routines and I hadn’t yet mentioned this product, but she took a good look at my bare face and said she was amazed that many of my acne scars from when I was a teenager had noticeably reduced, that my skin looks so much clearer and healthy. Then I told her that it was due to this product which has retinol in. But that was a very great moment for me and I’m glad I’ve been using this daily for so long. So I am recommending solely on that.The serum generally doesn’t clog my pores, however if my skin’s having a bad day it can cause a couple of spots to appear, but that doesn’t happen often so it’s not really a problem. I don’t get as much acne now but if you are acne prone might not be the best product for you due to that. I’d also say because it makes the face appear shiny (not in a greasy way, but I would assume this is down to the hylauronic acid) it can appear to highlight imperfections like spots on a bad skin day. However applying a mattifying cream on top of the serum has now fixed this for me.One thing is that the bottle needs to be shaken before use... I’m actually surprised it’s worked for all this time as I’ve only just realised that it collects sediment at the bottom, but that’s nothing to be concerned about as it’s natural for an organic product.I will be buying more of this when I eventually run out. For me it’s been very worth it. My skin seems to like it which is rare for me. When I find a product that agrees with me I stick with it. And that is the case here.

This is the best product I have found to suit my skin. Since I hit my forties I found I had combination skin. Acne on my neck, dry red skin around my nose, lines around my eyes. This serum has helped to improve all of this. I clean my skin and apply a few drops of serum every evening before bed then moisturise in the morning. Great improvement. I am very pleased. The bottle lasts a lot longer than I expected. Well worth the money. I have recommended this to both my sisters. Its great.

This is a good serum for the price point. Not as good as the more expensive brands, but that's to be expected. The solution is nice and thin and is easily absorbed in to the skin. It doesn't seem to have a smell when it is absorbed in to the face, but if you forget to wash your hands you can notice a funny smell. Skin feels nice and looks good after about 6 weeks of use (I use along side a few other thing so it isn't purely this product)It is a decent size bottle and lasts a long time. I vary between 2 and 3 pumps, you don't need much! I buy this often, so it obviously works for me!

Ho acquistato tutti e tre i prodotti di questa linea (siero vitamina c, siero all'acido ialuronico, siero al retinolo), leggendo le recensioni, approfittando del buon prezzo e della confezione accattivanti.Comprati a maggio e recensiti a luglio, quindi dopo 2 mesi di utilizzo quotidiano.Lo uso tutte le sere e già dalle prime applicazioni ho notato un miglioramento della pelle: più setosa, più mordiba.Ho una pelle mista molto secca, i risultati più evidenti li ho percepiti proprio all'inizio: al mattino mi svegliavo con la pelle visibilmente più riposata e migliore al tatto.Anche questo siero, come quello alla vitamina c della stessa marca, è molto liquido, ma un po' più vischioso e si assorbe un po' più lentamente. Non ho notato cambiamenti di colore né di profumazione dopo l'apertura.I risultati si sono poi stabilizzati e ora, dopo due mesi, posso dire che mi piace come rituale serale, non sono ringiovanita ma la pelle sta meglio!Ne ho utilizzato circa metà confezione in due mesi di uso serale quotidiano.

Okay i’m not going to lie, the product does not smell good. It smells like some kind of a dried spice (like star anise kind of) but the smell goes away quickly and does not linger after it’s dried. More importantly the product WORKS. my skin was so smooth after using, and i have used other retinols before so believe me when i say this one stood out. I even made my bf try it (i’m mostly white with very high maintenance skin needs, he is half black half white with normal maintenance and oily skin). He was glowing, sometimes his skin gets ashy and he looks grey almost, this stuff not only didnt turn him grey but it made his honey undertones shine. Honestly not fair~ but its worth a try for a wide range of skin types if u can get past the spicy smell lol. (Like a 3/10 on how bad the smell is imo. He didnt seem to notice at all 🙄 boys….)

A utilisé le soir sur visage bien démaquillé. j'applique ensuite une crème hydratante. Très satisfaite.
